Abstract :
Since the UK economy turned from growth to recession at the end of the 1980s, the subject of cash flow management has come under even closer scrutiny. Bankers continue to support companies in whose financial management they believe, but others have found that some traditional financial options are no longer available. Here, the author describes how, whilst it will not shore up a company on the brink of collapse, factoring can provide the finance to help a company develop, reduce the risk of bad debts and take away the hassle of credit management
