Abstract :
This paper presents a new digital FM signal processing system. The new system uses a dynamic equalizer which selects the optimum equalizer characteristic at each sampling point according to the state of the FM playback signal. By combining the dynamic equalizer with an arc-tangent type FM-demodulator, the system improves the SNR
