Abstract :
The decay of initial permeability with time has been measured in a number of MnZn ferrites with small titanium concentrations. This disaccommodation factor has been measured as a function of temperature in the range -30°C to 130°C. The existence of peaks in the disaccommodation spectra have previously been reported but the mechanisms involved in these processes have not been fully established and the reported effects of titanium dopants are contradictory. In this work the peaks are measured as a function of temperature and titanium concentrations only : the other factors which affect the disaccommodation spectra being removed. The results are compared with previously published data.
