Abstract :
The algorithm for the computation of a basis for ker (A¿¿o In, B) presented greatly facilitates the synthesis of state-feedback regulators by entire eigenstructure assignment. It is ideally suited for digital-computer implementation and can be readily dualised for use in the synthesis of full-order observers by entire eigenstructure assignment.
