  • Abstract
    This paper describes a new dc-ac converter called coupling-decoupling transformer. The coupling-decoupling transformer is constructed with an orthogonal core and a thyristor inverter. Using the coupling-decoupling transformer, we can easily control the power transferred from a dc source to an ac distribution line. Useful operating characteristics are obtained in the trial coupling-decoupling transformer.
