Abstract :
Until recently, consumer electronics devices, PCs, and peripherals in home have been primarily confined to the links that allow consumers to access them with wired connections. Furthermore, there are increasing demands for wireless home entertainment network. In order to satisfy consumers´ demands for wireless home entertainment network in order to support low cost, reliable and wireless connections, we propose DS-UWB system using STBC with rake receiver capable of resolving multipath components. The significant improvement is achieved in the proposed system. This paper evaluates the performance of the proposed system and examines the algorithms for improving reliability and performance of the proposed system.
