Abstract :
The H -plane radiation pattern of an array of parallel wires is identical to that of an array of point sources with transformed excitations. It is shown how this result applies with matrix methods for wire antenna analysis and design. Examples are given for pattern synthesis with linear and circular arrays of parallel wires.
