Abstract :
Besides providing a good tutorial for the novice microcomputer assembly language programmer, this offering will serve as an adequate reference for the more experienced person who is working with 8080A or 8085 assembly language for the first time. Each machine instruction is covered thoroughly, and its effects on machine content are presented in a graphically unique manner that is clear and easy to follow. The many coding examples, using Intel 8080 conventions, will help the beginner understand the instruction set mnemonics and the commonly used psuedo-ops.
