Review and Analysis of Book: Research Methodology in Simple Language

بي شك انتخاب روش مناسب و متناسب با تحقيق، يكي از بنيادي ترين اصول پژوهش علمي محسوب مي شود و آگاهي و آشنايي با اين روش ها و رويكردها سبب شكل گيري پژوهش هاي ارزشمند و قابل اعتنايي خواهد شد. روش تحقيق به زبان ساده نوشته ي مريم صادقي، كتابي است كه در آن سعي شده است تا روش تحقيق و اصول پايان نامه نويسي براي دانشجويان رشته ي زبان و ادبيات فارسي تبيين شود. نگارنده در اين مقاله، به بررسي و نقد اين كتاب پرداخته و برخي از امتيازات و كاستي هاي آن را برشمرده است؛ براساس يافته هاي اين تحقيق، اين كتاب با داشتن نكات مثبتي چون پرداختن به سوال تحقيق و تمرينات اختصاصي، ذكر جداول و مهمتر از همه، تمركز بر رشته ي زبان و ادبيات فارسي، كاستي ها و ايراداتي چون عدم تطابق عنوان با متن كتاب، بي توجهي به اصول ابتدايي نگارش و ويرايش، ايجازهاي مخّل، استفاده از منابع نامعتبر و جامع نبودن برخي مطالب نيز در خود دارد كه سبب مي شود خوانندگان كتاب در بسياري از مباحث نتوانند به كنه مطلب رسيده و بهره ي لازم را از آن كسب كنند.

Undoubtedly choosing a proper methodology suitable with a research is regarded as one of the most fundamental principles of a scientific research. Familiarity and knowledge of these research methodologies and approaches will lead to the emergence of valuable and reliable researches. The book: Research Methodology in Simple Language is written by Maryam Sadeghi; in her book, the author endeavored to clarify the methods and principles of writing a thesis for the students of Persian Literature. The author of the current article concentrates on surveying and reviewing this book. He also points to the weak and strong points of the book in question. Based on findings of the article, despite the merits of the book such as dealing with research questions, containing specialized exercises, referring to the tables, and the most importantly focusing on the field of Persian Literature, the book has many fundamental problems, including the contradiction between the title of the book with its content, the writer’s lack of attention to the basic rules of writing and editing, the presence of confusing sentences suffering from lack of enough information, and its incomprehensibility. These shortcomings will prevent its readers from not only its full understanding but also from benefitting from it.
