A Critical Analysis of the 8th, 9th & 10th Volumes of The History of Children’s Literature

در اين مقاله، سه جلد آخر مجموعه‌ ي تاريخ ادبيات كودكان ايران تاليف محمدهادي محمدي و زهره قاييني را در دو حوزه ‌ي كلي ارزيابي كرده‌ايم: 1. مقدمات و زمينه‌ هاي نظري، شامل: 1،1. نداشتن پيشينه‌ ي كامل 1،2. مشخص نبودن مبناي نظري و رويكرد نويسندگان در نوشتن تاريخ ادبيات و به طور خاص، تاريخ ادبيات كودكان؛ 2. مسائل ساختاري و محتوايي، شامل: 2،1. نداشتن ساختار منسجم 2،2. مشخص نبودن تعاريف و اصطلاحات و گسست اثر از زمينه‌ ي نظري ادبيات كودكان در ايران و جهان 2،3. ارجاع ندادن به منابع معتبر و طرح مدعاهاي اثبات ‌نشده 2،4. گستردگي بيش از حد دامنه‌ ي كار 2،5. مشخص نبودن مبناي دوره‌ بندي ‌ها 2،6. مسائل مربوط به هيئت و ظاهر كتاب 2،7. مشكلات نگارشي و ويرايشي. در مجموع، علي ‌رغم اشكالات نظري، ساختاري و محتوايي، ارزش اصلي اين مجموعه را مي ‌توان در گردآوري منابع و اسناد مربوط به تاريخ ادبيات كودكان (به خصوص اسناد نادر) دانست و آن را به ‌منزله ‌ي منبع مهمي در اين زمينه معرفي كرد.

in Iran present article has evaluated the last three volumes of Tarikh-e Adabiat-e Koodakan-e Iran (The History of Children’s Literature of Iran) in two general areas: 1. the Generalities and the theoretical grounds, including: 1.1. Not explaining the complete literature of the subject, 1.2. not having a clear theoretical base and an explicit approach toward writing the history of literature as a whole and writing the history of children’s literature in particular; 2. The structural-content problems including: 2.1. Not having a coherent structure, 2.2. Not having a clear terminology, 2.3. Not referring to authentic resources and raising unproven claims, 2.4. Covering a very vast historical domain, 2.5. Not having a clear base for the historical periodization, 2.6. Having deficiencies pertaining to the format and the appearance of the book, 2.7. Having writing and editing errors. As a whole, in spite of the theoretical, structural and content deficiencies, the real importance of this collection is that it has gathered the source materials and documents (specially the scare documents) relating to Persian children’s literature and one can introduce it as an important reference book in this field.
