هدف پژوهش حاضر تحليل وبررسي وصيت نامه هاي شهداي خراسان جنوبي (109 وصيت نامه) است. اين پژوهش از نوع كاربردي بوده، در نظر دارد با استفاده از روش تحليل محتوا انگيزه رزمندگان از رفتن به دفاع مقدس را بررسي و تحليل كند. در اين نوشتار علل و انگيزه هاي رزمندگان براي حضور در جبهه در سه بخش انگيزه هاي ديني، انقلابي و ملي به عنوان مفاهيم تحقيق تفكيك شد و مورد بررسي و تحليل قرار گرفت. انگيزه ديني با حدود 63/5 درصد بيشترين دليل حضور رزمندگان در جبهه بوده، انگيزه انقلابي با حدود 33/5 درصد در رده دوم قرار گرفته و انگيزه هاي ملي با 3 درصد كمترين نقش را در تشويق رزمندگان به حضور در جبهه هاي دفاع مقدس به عهده داشته اند. در نهايت، سه انگيزه گفته شده مورد بررسي مقايسه اي قرار گرفت و در اينجا هم بيشترين انگيزه اي كه در ترغيب رزمندگان براي رفتن به ميادين جنگ تحميلي نقش داشته انگيزه ديني بوده است. با توجه به فلسفه انقلاب اسلامي و فضاي ناشي از آن كه بر جامعه ايران اسلامي حاكم شده است، درك اين مطلب چندان دشوار به نظر نمي رسد. با اين وجود، بايد در نظر داشت كه هيچ كدام از اين انگيزه ها بدون تكرار نبوده است.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the wills of the martyrs of southern Khorasan (109 wills). This is an applied research and it intends to use the content analysis method to investigate the motivation of combatant to attend on the sacred defense front. In this paper، the causes and motivations of the combatants for presence on the front are segregated into three sections of religious، revolutionary، and nationality motives as the concepts of the research and have been analyzed. Religious motivations، with about 63.5 percent، is the biggest reason for the presence of combatant on the front، the revolutionary motives are the second rate with 33.5 percent and the national motives with 3 percent have been the smallest role in encouraging the combatants to attend on the sacred defense fronts. Finally، the three mentioned motivations are compared. In this aspect also، the motives of religious were the active motivations to persuade the combatant to attend the battlefields. With regard to the philosophy of the Islamic Revolution and its atmosphere that was governed in the Islamic society، it does not seem very difficult to understand this concept.
