بررسي شيوع اختلالات عضلاني استخواني در جانبازان نابيناي ايران

Evaluation of the prevalence of neuromusculoskeletal dysfunctions in blind veterans in Iran

مقدمه: نابينايي موجب نوع خاصي از تحرك با بدن خميده و گام هاي كوتاه مي گردد. اين تغييرات تحركي در نابينايان خاستگاه فشار بر بافت هاي عضلاني استخواني و اختلالات متعدد عضلاني استخواني منتج از آن مي گردد. هدف: هدف اين مطالعه تعيين شيوع دردهاي عضلاني استخواني در جانبازان نابيناي كشور مي باشد. مواد و روش ها: در اين مطالعه مقطعي مقايسه اي داده ها با استفاده از پرسش نامه در 385 جانباز نابيناي شركت كننده در اردوي تفريحي درماني جانبازان نابيناي كشور در سال 1385 گرداوري گرديد. نتايج: اين مطالعه شيوع بالاي دردهاي عضلاني استخواني را در جانبازان نابينا نشان داد. همچنين مطالعه حاضر شيوع بالاي تغييرات وضعيتي را نشان داد. بحث: بر اساس يافته ها شيوع دردهاي عضلاني استخواني در جانبازان نابينا بالاتر است كه بايد براي براي پيشگيري و درمان مورد توجه قرار گيرد.

Introduction: The blindness makes specific kind of locomotion with characteristic bending of body, stepping gate and short steps. These changes in blind locomotion originate stress on neuromusculoskeletal tissue and different neuromusculoskeletal dysfunctions. Aim: The aim of these study is determining the epidemiology of neuromusculoskeletal pain in blind veterans. Material and methods: in this cross sectional study we have collected data by questionnaire and have examined from all of 385 blind veteran who have participated in therapeutic and sportive camp of Iranian blinds veterans. (Mashhad, Iran 2005) Result: this study show high prevalence of neuro musculo skeletal pain in blind veterans. Other finding of our study was high prevalence of postural deformities in blind veterans. Conclusion: according to the result, the prevalence of neuromusculoskeletal pain in blinds veteran is more than normal population and they should be educated and treated for prevention, care and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal pain.
