A Systematic Review and the Overview of a Drug Terminological System NDF-RT

گسترش فهرست واژگان، يكي از ضروريات تبادل اطلاعات در سيستم هاي اطلاعات سلامت محسوب مي شوند. يك دسته از اين فـهرست ها، فـهرست واژگان دارويي مي باشد. اين مـطالعه ضمن مـرور ساختار يافته يكي از سيستم هاي طبقه بندي داروهـا به نام (national drug filereference terminology) ndfrt به معرفي و تشريح كاربرد هاي آن مي پردازد. روش: اين پژوهش، به دو روش مرور ساختار يافته براي شناسايي مطالعات مربوط به كاربردهايndfrt و مرور غيرساختار يافته براي معرفي آن انجام شده است. جستجوي مطالعات با مراجعه به پايگاه هاي pubmed و google scholar انجام شده است. در مطالعه مروري ساختار يافته مشخصات مقالات همچون موضوع، وابستگي نويسندگان، سال انتشار، نام نشريه و كاربرد ndfrt، استخراج گرديده و با استفاده از نرم افزار اكسل 2010 تجزيه و تحليل شد. نتايج: سيستم طبقه بنديndfrt، داروها را براساس ساختار، مواد تشكيل دهنده و اثرات فيزيولوژيك آن، طبقه بندي مي نمايد. در مطالعه ساختار يافته، 13 مقاله بازيابي گرديد كه 9 مقاله به ارزيابي سيستمndfrt در رابطه با قابليت استفاده و اجراي سيستم در محيط هاي مختلف بهداشتي و درماني، ارتباط تشخيص ها با داروها و صحت طبقه بندي داروها پرداخته اند.نتيجه گيري: فهرست واژگان داروييndfrt يكي از جامع ترين سيستم هاي واژه شناسي در زمينه طـبقه بندي داروهـا مي باشد كه مي تواند در استانداردسازي اطلاعات دارويي در سيستم هاي اطلاعات سلامت مورد استفاده قرار گيرد.

Introduction: The development of terminological systems is one of the requirements of the exchange of information in health information systems. A group of these terminological systems is drug terminology. In this study, we reviewed and introduced one of the drug terminological systems called NDF-RT's (National Drug File-Reference Terminology) and explained its applications systematically. Method: This research has been done using two methods: a systematic review to identify studies concerning the application of NDF-RT and a non-systematic review to introduce this system. Articles were searched in Pub Med and Google Scholar databases. In the systematic review, the papers information including title, author's affiliation, year of publication, journal's name, and application of NDF-RT, were extracted and analyzed using Microsoft excel 2010. Results: NDF-RT classification system classifies drugs based on their structure, ingredients, and their physiologic effects. In our systematic review, thirteen papers were retrieved, nine of which have evaluated NDF-RT system for usability and deployment of the system in health care environments, diagnosis and drug relationships, and accuracy of drugs classification. Conclusion: NDF-RT drug terminology is one of the most comprehensive terminological systems for the classification of drugs which can be used for drugs information standardization in health information systems.
