چكيده فارسي :
سنّت و نوآوري در ادبيات، نقشي مؤثر در آفرينش آثار ادبي ماندگار و كلاسيك داشته است. در اين مقاله ضمن بررسي سنت و نوآوري به مثابة دو جنب ة حياتي براي استمرار فرهنگ يك ملت، به شگردهاي زباني و معنايي آثار سعدي پرداخته شده و نويسنده نشان داده كه شاعر بزرگ ايران زمين، سعدي شيرازي، در خلق آثار ماندگار خود هم به سن ت ديرپا و غني گذشتگان پايبند است و هم خود سنّت آفرين است.

Tradition and innovation have both played a great part in the creation of immortal and classical literary texts. In this essay, the writer analyzes these two aspects as the life and breath of the continuation of the culture of a country, and at the same time, deals with the techniques Sa`di uses in the use of meaning and words. The writer has also proves that Sa`di not only employs
old tradition in his works, but also invents some of his own.
