چكيده فارسي :
ترجمه در يك تقسيم‌بندي شامل ترجمه از زبان قومي كه هيچ اطلاعي از زبان آنان نداريم مي‌شود كه به ترجمۀ راديكال معروف است و يا ترجمه از زباني كه با آن آشنا هستيم. سعدي شاعر بلند آوازه قرن هفتم، در گلستان صاحب ترجمه‌هايي از فارسي به عربي و از عربي به فارسي است كه در اين مقاله كوشيده شده تا بر مبناي ترجمۀ نوع دوم؛ يعني ترجمه به معناي متداول، ترجمه‌هاي سعدي مورد بررسي قرار گيرد.

Translation has two different categories: one translating from a language that we have no knowledge of, which is called radical translation, and the other is translating from a language we are familiar with. Sa'di, the famous poet of the seventh century, has, in his book Golestan, done translations from Farsi to Arabic, and from Arabic to Farsi. In this essay, the writer has tried assess this kind of translation in Sa'di’s works.
