چكيده فارسي :
موضوع اصلي مقاله، چنان‌كه از عنوان آن بر مي‌آيد، تحليل مقدمۀ گلستان است. بدين منظور چند پرسش محوري در مقاله مطرح كرده‌ايم. نخست اينكه: آيا سعدي در نوشتن گلستان طرح معين و از پيش تعيين شده‌اي را در نظر داشته يا اينكه كشكول‌وار و بر اساس حالات زودگذر اين متن را نگاشته است؟ براي پاسخ به اين پرسش، از مقدمه و قرائن ديگر بهره برده‌ايم. پرسش محوري ديگر اين است كه براساس مطالب مقدمه، هدف اصلي وي از تأليف گلستان چه بوده است؟ در بخش بعدي، سعي كرده‌ايم به اين سؤال پاسخ دهيم كه چرا گلستان به عنوان يك كتاب تربيتي در ذهنيت تاريخي ايرانيان مطرح شد؛ درحالي‌كه هدف غايي سعدي نوشتن يك كتاب تربيتي نبوده و كتاب‌هاي تربيتي ديگر اين موقعيت را نيافته، حال آنكه اغراض اصلي نويسندگان آنها نوشتن يك كتاب تربيتي بوده است؟ هم‌چنين در بخش ديگر به بيان تشابه «ساختار مقدمۀ گلستان» با «ساختار جامعۀ عصر سعدي» پرداخته‌ايم. سپس در بخش پاياني ويژگي‌هاي فرمي مقدمه را كه از علل ماندگاري آن شده، در سه سطح زباني، تصويري و موسيقايي بررسي كرده‌ايم.
چكيده لاتين :
The main subject of this essay, as mentioned above, is analysis of Golestan. Therefore, I have compiled a few pivotal questions the first being, in writing Golestan, did Sa'di have a preordained goal, or did he write it as it came to his mind? To answer this question, I have referred to the introduction and other evidences. The next question is: based on the introduction, what has been his basic goal for writing this book? Furthermore, I tried to answer the question concerning the reason for Golestan being considered a book of instruction and a handbook of manners. However, Sa'di goal has never been writing a book on manners. Other books have been written on manners by different writers, but they have never been as popular as Golestan.
In another part of this essay, I have tried to point out the similarities of "make- up of Golestan introduction" to the "make-up of the society in Sa'di time". To end the essay, I have discussed the characteristics of the structure of the introduction, which is the reason for its lasting effect in language, imagery, and music.
