Useful and harmful effects of using modern communication media (internet, satellite and mobile phone) from female students’ point of view in Bahar city

هدف اصلي اين پژوهش تعيين آثار استفاده از رسانه‌هاي ارتباطي نوين از ديد دانش‌آموزان شهر بهار بوده است. روش پژوهش توصيفي و از نوع پيمايشي بوده و جامعه آماري آن شامل تمامي دانش‌آموزان دختر دوره متوسطه دوم شهر بهار مي‌شده است كه بر اين اساس تعداد 288 نفر به روش نمونه‌گيري خوشه‌اي چند‌مرحله‌اي انتخاب شده‌اند. ابزار اصلي جهت جمع‌آوري داده‌ها پرسشنامه‌اي محقق- ساخته بوده است. براي تجزيه و تحليل داده‌ها از آزمون‌هاي آماري مختلفي چون آزمون كلموگراف- اسميرونف، آزمون t تك‌گروهي و t گروه‌هاي وابسته استفاده شد. نتايج نشان داد از نظر دانش‌آموزان استفاده از رسانه‌هاي ارتباطي نوين (اينترنت، ماهواره و تلفن همراه) داراي آثار سودمند و زيان‌بار تربيتي است و آثار زيان‌بار آن به‌طور كلي بيش از آثار سودمند آن است. آثار سودمند تربيتي رسانه‌هاي نوين ارتباطي عبارت‌اند از: افزايش روابط اجتماعي مفيد، ارتقاء آگاهي فردي و تسهيل يادگيري زبان دوم؛ و آثار زيان‌بار تربيتي آن عبارت‌اند از: ايجاد آشفتگي اخلاقي در دانش‌آموزان، انزواي دانش‌آموزان، افت تحصيلي، كاهش استفاده از لهجۀ محلي و كم‌شدن زمان فعاليت ورزشي در دانش‌آموزان است.

The main purpose of this research was to determine the effects of using modern media communication from Bahar city students' point of view. The method of this research was descriptive, akind of survey. Statistical population of the study included all female high-school students in Bahar city. Therefore, in terms of multi-cluster sampling method 288 individual were selected. The main instrument for gathering data in this research was a research-made questionnaire. For data analysis, the inferential statistics such as Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, one sample t-test and dependent t-test were used. The results showed that students believed that using modern media communication like Internet.Mobile, and so on, have harmful and useful effects. Nevertheless, the harmful effects of them are more than their useful effects. The useful effects were: increasing the social relationship of students, promoting the individual consciousness, and facilitating second language learning. On the other hand, the harmful effects were: students’ morality disorders, isolation of students, educational drop-out, decreasing the use of local slangs, and decreasing sport activity time among students.
