?Combination or separation of economics and ethics: Why and How

در چند دهۀ اخير كتاب‌ها و مقالات بسياري در‌زمينۀ اقتصاد و اخلاق با رويكردهاي مختلف نگاشته شده است؛ از‌يك‌سو، اقتصاددانان حامي ايدۀ اخلاقي‌تركردن علم اقتصاد، با تشريح نقايص و كاستي‌هاي «علم اقتصاد خالي از ملاحظات اخلاقي»، درصدد ايجاد راهي براي واردكردن اخلاق و ارزش‌هاي اخلاقي به علم اقتصاد برآمده‌اند و ازسوي‌ديگر، گروهي ديگر از اقتصاددانان اين ايرادها را بر رويكرد فعلي علم اقتصاد وارد ندانسته‌اند. بررسي كامل و موشكافانۀ دلايل هر دو گروه روشن مي‌كند كه تركيب اخلاق با اقتصاد هنجاري و هم‌چنين تأثير اخلاق در اقتصاد به‌مثابۀ جامعۀ اقتصادي اجتناب‌ناپذير و حتي ضروري است، اما دلايل حاميان دخالت اخلاق در اقتصاد اثباتي از اعتبار كافي برخوردار نيست و ورود اخلاق به اين شاخۀ علم اقتصاد با منطق علمي سازگار نيست.

In recent decades, several books and articles have been written in the field of “economics and ethics” with different approaches; On the one hand, economists that advocate a more ethical economics have tried to bring ethics and ethical values to the economics by explaining the shortcomings of "economics without moral considerations" and on the other hand, another group of economists has not accepted the objections to the orthodox economics. A comprehensive study of the reasons for both groups makes it clear that the combination of ethics with the normative economics as well as the impact of moral values on economy is inevitable and even necessary but the reasons for intervention of the ethics in the positive economics are not convincing.
