هدف اساسي و نهايي از بررسي تحليل ارزشيابي لندفيل شهري با رويكرد بر زمين شناسي در سيستم اطلاعات جغرافيايي مرحله شناخت و مكان‌يابي طرح­هاي كلان لندفيل شهري در شهر بوشهر، دستيابي به اطلاعات لازم و دقيق است كه بر اساس آنها اولا، انجام مطالعات با مكان‌يابي، گزينه‌هاي احداث طرح­هاي كلان لندفيل شهري در سطح استان، معرفي شده و در درجه بعدي با انجام مطالعات تفصيلي اقدام به مشخصات فني مربوطه به گزينه برتر در مطالعه حاضر با هدف توسعه و احيا منابع مد نظر قرار گرفته است. بررسي­ ها نشان داد محل دفن پسماند فعلي شهر بوشهر رخساره‌هاي سيلابي كه در منطقه مورد مطالعه گسترش متوسطي دارد. ضريب نفوذپذيري4-10سانتي‌متر بر ثانيه مي‌باشد كه نفوذ پذيري نسبتا خوبي است. طبقه­ بندي فرسايش محدوده مطالعاتي محل دفن در فاصله نامناسب و فرسايش در منطقه بسيار بالا مي­باشد. نهشته‌هاي كواترنر حاصل فرسايش سازند‌هاي ارتفاعات منطقه و حمل آن توسط جريانهاي سيلابي مي‌باشد. اين نهشته‌ها گسترش وسيعي در منطقه مورد مطالعه دارد.
