ارزيابي ساخت و كاربرد سلاح آتشين در عصر صفوي

A Survey of Manufacturing and Using Firearms in Safavid Era

به‌ هنگام تأسيس حكومت صفوي سلاح آتشين عاملي مهم و تعيين كننده در جنگ‌ها بود. صفويان پس از جنگ چالدران به اين موضوع آگاهي كامل يافتند و در طول دورۀ حكومت خويش توجه خاصي به ساخت و كاربرد توپ و تفنگ داشتند. پژوهش حاضر در صدد پاسخ به اين پرسش است كه صفويان در زمينۀ ساخت و كاربرد سلاح آتشين به چه پيشرفت‌هايي رسيدند؟ در اين مقاله تلاش خواهد شد تا با استناد به منابع دست اول تاريخي و با رويكرد مطالعۀ تحليلي- توصيفي به اين پرسش پاسخ داده شود.

The firearms were among determinant and significant factors at the time of foundation of safavid government. After the Chalderan war, the safavids became completely aware of this subject and during their reign had paid due attention to making and using cannon and guns. The present research aims to answer the following question: did the safavids made a considerable progress in the manufacturing and utilisation of firearms? This article tries to answer this question by relying upon first hand historical sources and by adopting an analytical and descriptive approach.
