A Study Geopolitical Challenges in the Relationship of the Gulf Cooperation Council with the Islamic Republic of Iran and its Impact on the Islamic World

منطقه خليج فارس، خاستگاه و هسته مركزي در جهان اسلام است. دو قدرت برتر جهان اسلام يعني عربستان سعودي و جمهوري اسلامي ايران در كرانه هاي شمالي و جنوبي اين منطقه ژئوپليتيكي واقع شده اند. رقابت و اختلافات ژئوپليتيكي و ايدئولوژيكي اين دو قدرت منطقه اي پس از وقوع انقلاب اسلامي ايران آغاز شد و به تدريج بر ابعاد آن افزايش يافت. اين پژوهش به دنبال بررسي رابطه شوراي همكاري خليج فارس به رهبري عربستان سعودي با جمهوري اسلامي ايران و تأثير آن بر جهان اسلام است. به لحاظ تاريخي، روابط اين دو واحد فضايي ـ سياسي به سه دوره قابل تقسيم است كه پيچيده ترين آن در دوره معاصر روي داده است. اين تحقيق با روش توصيفي ـ تحليلي با نگاه ژئوپليتيكي و با استفاده از داده هاي كتابخانه اي انجام شده است. نتايج تحقيق نشان مي دهد كه رقابت و تنش ميان روابط ايران و عربستان سعودي بسيار عميق، گسترده و پايدار است و به راحتي امكان مصالحه، اتحاد و همگرايي در منطقه ژئوپليتيكي هسته مركزي جهان اسلام وجود ندارد. بر اين اساس، همگرايي و اتحاد در جهان اسلام، جايي كه هسته مركزي و قدرتهاي جهان اسلام در مناقشه هستند، بسيار بعيد و دور از دسترس است و نمي توان چشم انداز روشني را براي آن ترسيم كرد.

The Persian Gulf region is the origin and central core of the Islam world. The two major powers of the Islamic world, Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran, are located on the northern and southern borders of this geopolitical region. The rivalry and geopolitical and ideological differences between these two regional powers began after the Islamic Revolution of Iran and gradually increased its dimensions. The study seeks to examine the relationship between the Gulf Cooperation Council Saudi by leader of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran and its impact on the Islamic world. Historically, the relations between these two political-space units can be divided into three periods that the most complex it has taken place in the contemporary era. This research conducted using a descriptive analytically method with geopolitical view and using library data. The results of the research show that the rivalry and tension between Iran and Saudi Arabia are very deep, broad and stable, and there is no easy way for reconciliation, unity and convergence in the geopolitical region of the central core of the Islamic world. Accordingly, convergence and unity in the Muslim world, where the core of the world and the powers of the Islamic world are in conflict, is very unlikely and far from reachable. So, cannot be drawn a clear view for it.
