آذر برزين در متون پهلواني پس از شاهنامه

آذربرزين پسر فرامرز، يكي از يلان نامدار منظومه هاي حماسي پس از شاهنامه است. براي نخستين بار در بهمن نامه است كه آذربرزين بدون هيچ مقدمه اي وارد داستان مي شود و پس از كين خواهي از بهمن، ديگر سخني از او به ميان نمي آيد. در منظومه هاي ديگري مانند فرامرزنامه بزرگ و شهريارنامه، روايت هايي درباره چگونگي آشنايي فرامرز با مادر آذربرزين آمده و در منظومه اخير، حتي آينده آذربرزين نيز پيش بيني شده است. در برخي طومارهاي نقالي و برخي روايات شفاهي شاهنامه روايات متعددي از سرگذشت آذربرزين نيز هست كه اگرچه در ساختار داستان با روايت بهمن نامه برابري دارند، اما افزوده هاي ديگري نيز در اين دسته روايات ديده مي شود كه اگر ريشه در روايات كهن نداشته باشند، بيانگر شهرت داستان هاي فرامرز و به تبع او فرزندش آذربرزين، در ميان توده مردم بوده است. در اين مقاله به بررسي مجموعه رواياتي كه در ادب پهلواني، درباره آذربرزين از آغاز تولد تا پايان زندگيش آمده مي پردازيم؛ سپس نشان مي دهيم كه مهمترين خويشكاري آذربرزين در ادب پهلواني ايران، نبرد با بهمن پادشاه كياني است و پس از اداي اين وظيفه، اين پهلوان از صحنه داستان هاي ملي خارج مي شود و به تبع آن، سير روايات پهلواني نيز به پايان مي رسد.

Azar Burzin, the son of Faramarz, is one of the famous heroes in epic texts after Shahname. In Bahman Name for the first time he appears without any introduction in the story and then after taking revenge on Bahman he disappears. In other epics like great Faramarz nameh and Shahriyar Name, stories about how Faramarz got familiar with Azar Burzin’s mother and even in Shahriyar Name, Azar Burzin future is predicted. Furthermore, in some narrations carried out by narrators of Shahnameh and some of folklores, various points about his life have been stated. Although in all these narrations about Azar Burzin one can find a structure similar to the story structure of Bahman Nameh, some additions have been made which have no realities in old narrations. However, these indicate that Faramarz and his son Azur Barzin have been famous among the people. In this article, the author has tried to study the narrations of Azur Barzin from his birth to his death and paid particular attention to his war with Bahman Shah. After this accomplishment done by Azar Burzin, the author has concluded how Azar Burzin as a hero disappears from the national stories and in turn the stories about heroic events got finished.
