كليات اشعار وحشي بافقي (939– 991؟) يك بار در سال (1338) به تصحيح دكتر حسين آذران (نخعي) و به وسيلۀ انتشارات اميركبير در فروردين (1339) منتشر شده‌است كه شايد در آن زمان بهترين تصحيح آثار وحشي بوده‌است. اما به دلايلي كه اشاره مي‌شود نيازمند تصحيح مجدد است؛ اين‌كار با روشي علمي و دقيق انجام نشده‌است. در اين كار از چهار نسخه استفاده شده‌است كه همۀ آن‌ها از جهت قدمت، صحت و جامعيت اعتبار كافي ندارند و همچنين شامل همۀ آثار شاعر نيستند؛ ضمن اين‌كه ابهام و اشتباهات بسيار از قبيل: خوانش‌هاي نادرست، گزينش‌هاي نامناسب، گزارش‌هاي نادرست و خطاهاي چاپي، نگارشي و ويرايشي بسيار در آن وارد شده‌است. كاستي‌ها و ايراداتي نيز به حواشي آن راه يافته‌است. افتادگي‌هاي مكرر تك‌بيتي و چندبيتي و اشعار نويافتۀ در نسخه‌هاي قديم‌تر كه مورد استفاده مصحح نبوده‌است، حدود %10 به آثار شاعر مي‌افزايد. اين مقاله مي‌كوشد ضمن نقد و بررسي روش تصحيح و تدوين ديوان چاپ‌ شده و اعتبارسنجي نسخه‌هاي مورد استفاده و ارائۀ نمونه‌هايي از اشكالات موجود، لزوم تصحيح دوبارۀ كليات وحشي را تبيين كند.

Complete poetical work of Vahshi Bafghi (939-991) was emended once in (1338) by Dr Hossein Azaran (Nakha’s) & has been published by Amirkabir publication in Farvardin )1339) that maybe has been the best emendation of Vahshi’s works in that time. But for some reason that are mentioned it is needed to emend again.This emendation hasn’t been done with a scientific & exact method. In this emendation four versions has been used that all of those don’t have enough validity considering oldness, accuracy & universality also don’t include all of poet’s works. In addition to vagueness & mistakes such as: miss readings, inappropriate choices, false reports, many printing, writing & editing errors it also has shortcomings & problems in margins. Frequent elimination of single & several couplet & new finding poems in older versions that haven’t been used by proof-reader increase the poet’s work about (10%). This article tries to criticize emendation & composition method of printed poetical work & validate using versions & represent examples of existing problems & also to explain necessity of explain necessity of further emendation of Vahshi’s poetical work.
