Grand Challenges of Future Development of Information and Communication Technology (Text in Persian)

مديران با استفاده از فناوري اطلاعات و ارتباطات تلاش مي كنند به طور بنيادي هدف، شكل و اقدامات مديريتي را تغيير دهند و در اين راستا با چالش ها و فرصت هاي توسعه آتي فناوري اطلاعات و ارتباطات روبه رو هستند. نخستين چالش، غلبه بر قلمرو محدود برخورد با فناوري اطلاعات و ارتباطات در حال حاضر است، چالش دوم، چگونگي مقابله با مسائل ناشي از پيچيدگي است كه قابليت كنترل و مديريت سازمان را به عنوان يك سيستم، محدود مي كند. چالش سوم با مسئله پيچيدگي پيوند دارد و موضوعات بنيادي پايداري و قابليت زيستن را تشريح مي كند. در پي چالش سوم، چالش چهارمي پيش مي آيد كه شناسايي حالت هاي بقا براي سيستم ها است و همچنين معماري هاي سيستم پويايي كه پديدار مي شود و در برابر تغييرات محيطي كه در آن زندگي مي كند، تاب آور است.

Managers using information and communication technology struggle to change the goal، form and managerial practices radically. They are faced with the challenges and future development opportunities of the underlying information system and its IT implementation، the enterprise information system. The first challenge is to overcome the narrowness of scope of present practice in information and communication technology. The second challenge is how to face the problems caused by complexity that limit the controllability and manageability of the organization as a system. The third challenge is connected with the complexity problem، and describes fundamental issues of sustainability and viability. Following the third، the fourth challenge is to identify modes of survival for systems and dynamic system architectures that evolve and are resilient to changes of the environment in which they live.
