تاثير استفاده از نرم افزار آموزشي موبايل DMOTMC در ارتقائ ميزان آگاهي دانشجويان در زمينه‌ي ملاحظات دندانپزشكي بيماران سيستميك

The Impact of Application of Mobile Educational Software (DMOTMC) on Promoting Students’ Awareness of Dental Treatment of Patients with Systemic Diseases

زمينه و هدف: آموزش رعايت ملاحظات دندانپزشكي بيماري­هاي سيستميـك به دانشجـويان دندانپزشكي از مباحـث مهم درسي آن­ها به شمار مي­رود. لذا اين مطالعه اثر نرم افزار آموزشي موبايل DMOTMC طراحي شده توسط پژوهشگران را در ارتقائ ميزان آگاهي دانشجويان در زمينه­ ي ملاحظات دندانپزشكي بيماران سيستميك بررسي كرده است. روش بررسي: در اين مطالعه نيمه تجربي(پيش آزمون و پس آزمون)، از بين دانشجويان دو سال آخر سال تحصيلي 95-94 رشته ­ي دندانپزشكي دانشگاه علوم پزشكي جندي شاپور اهواز، 60 نفر به روش تصادفي ساده انتخاب و به صورت تصادفي به دو گروه مداخله و كنترل تقسيم شدند. سپس به گروه مداخله نرم افزار آموزشي موبايل ارايه شد و 30 روز بعد از آن ، آزمون هاي جداگانه اي گرفته شد و نمره­ي آن­ها با دانشجويان گروه كنترل كه از نرم افزار استفاده نكرده بودند، مقايسه گرديد. اطلاعات توسط نرم افزارSPSS V21 و با آزمون رگرسيون مورد تجزيه و تحليل قرار گرفت. يافته ها: ميانگين نمرات آگاهي در دانشجويان گروه مداخله قبل و بعد از ارايه­ ي نرم افزار افزايش پيدا كرده و معنادار بود (05/ <0 P). همچنين تفاوت ميانگين نمرات اگاهي بعد از مداخله بين گروه مداخله و كنترل نيز معنادار بوده است(05/ <0 P). براساس آزمون رگرسيون، سن، جنس و ترم تحصيلي تاثيري بر تغييرات نمره­ ي قبل و بعد از مداخله نداشت. نتيجه گيري: گوشي­ هاي هوشمند مي توانند در راستاي اهداف آموزشي مورد استفاده­ قرار گيرند، گرچه اين تكنولوژي هنوز بشكل رسمي در برنامه­ هاي درسي گنجانده نشده ولي نمايانگر فرصتي است تا به دانشجويان امكان استفاده از روش­هاي متنوع يادگيري را فراهم ­آورد.

Background and Objective: Dental students should learn how to deal with dental treatment of patients with systemic diseases and it is one of the most important issues in their curriculum. Accordingly, this study aimed to gauge the impact of application of researcher-made Mobile Educational Software (DMOTMC) on promoting students’ awareness of dental treatment of patients with systemic diseases. Materials and Methods: In this (pre-test and post-test) semi-experimental study, 60 people were selected from the last two years of dentistry students with simple random method in the academic year 2015-2016 of AJUMS, and were divided into two intervention and control groups randomly. Then a mobile educational software was offered to the intervention group, and 30 days later separate tests were conducted, and their scores were compared with the students’ scores of control group who did not use the software. Finally, the data were analyzed using regression test and SPSS 21. Results: Average test scores of students in the study group before and after the using of application categorized as significant which shows the increase of their scores(P<0.05). Besides, this analysis showed a significant difference between average score of the main group and control group in the second assessment (P<0.05). Based on regression analysis, age, gender and educational semester before and after the intervention had no effect on the score. Conclusion: The smart-phones can be used for educational purposes. Although this technology has not been formally included in educational curriculum yet. It represents an opportunity to provide students the possibility of using various methods of learning.
