چكيده فارسي :
توسعة غيراصولي شهرها بهويژه در كشورهاي درحال‌توسعه، مديريت رشد شهرها را به يكي از مهم‌ترين چالش‌هاي قرن 21 تبديل كرده است. با وجود اين، مي‌توان با پيش‌بيني توسعة آتي شهر، برنامه‌ريزي بهينه‌اي براي شهر انجام داد. هدف از اين پژوهش، پيش‌بيني جهات توسعة آتي شهر اردبيل با استفاده از تصاوير ماهواره‌اي چندزمانة مربوط به سال‌هاي 1987 و 2013 است. در اين پژوهش، با استفاده از تئوري بيزين و 14 معيار طبيعي و انساني مؤثر در توسعة شهري، نقشة پهنه‌بندي قابليت توسعة شهري براي شهر اردبيل تهيه شد. سپس با استفاده از احتمالات تئوري بيزين، ارتباط ميان معيارها و مناطق توسعه‌يافته تعيين و درنهايت، نقشة قابليت توسعة شهري در پنج كلاس طبقه‌بندي شد. مطابق نقشة پهنه‌بندي، 8/17 درصد منطقه در كلاس با قابليت توسعة خيلي زياد، 6/29 درصد در كلاس با قابليت توسعة زياد، 4/20 درصد در كلاس با قابليت توسعة متوسط، 9/18 درصد در كلاس با قابليت توسعة كم و 3/24 درصد نيز در كلاس با قابليت توسعة بسيار كم قرار گرفته‌اند. مناطق با قابليت توسعة زياد و بسيار زياد به‌طور عمده در قسمت جنوب غربي و شمال غربي واقع شده‌اند. دقت نقشة قابليت توسعة شهري، با استفاده از يك‌سوم مناطق توسعه‌يافته ارزيابي شد. نتيجۀ ارزيابي نشان داد كه مدل با قابليت پيش‌بيني 8/98 درصد در كلاس‌هاي با قابليت توسعۀ زياد و بسيار زياد، دقت قابلقبولي در ارزيابي و پيش‌بيني توسعۀ آتي شهر دارد.
