چكيده فارسي :
بسياري از تعريف هاي بيان شده درباره «شرق شناسي»، دربردارنده مفهوم غربي آنها است؛ ابهام اين واژه با بارمعنايي منفي، به ويژه در ارتباط با استعمارِ اروپا، تصديق شدني است. تلاش هاي ادوارد سعيد براي ابهام زدايي از آن، چيزي از اين پيچيدگي نكاست بلكه در گفتماني ضد غربي، به محور و مبناي نقد تبديل گرديد. تاكيد بر تقابل دو جهان شرقي(شرقي شده) و جهان غربي(غربي شده)، فاصله اي در ذهن پژوهشگر ميان موضوع و حقيقت آن ايجاد مي كند؛ فاصله اي كه سبب ساخت تصويري ناروا از موضوع مي شود. تغيير اين اصطلاح در مواجه با موضوع، نشان از تغيير رويكرد غربيان درباره آن است و متاسفانه اين تغييرات از طرف منتقدان، به ويژه مسلمانان، ناديده گرفته مي شود. بي توجهي به نقش زمان در ارايه تعريف ها، به ويژه در حوزه مطالعات اسلامي درغرب، بر اين تقابل تاثير گذاشته و مفهومي منجمد را به نقد كشيدن عمق اختلاف نظرها را بيشتر كرده است. در اين مقاله تلاش شده است با بررسي زمينه هاي ساخت اصطلاح«شرق شناسي» در فرهنگ اروپايي، قلمروشناسي يا كاربردهاي آن، فهم ما ازشرق شناسي، نقش شرقيان درتحول فكرغربيان با حضور و همكاري مسلمانان درمطالعات اسلامي، به چالش امروزين و تغييرپارادايم شرقشناسي پرداخته شود. همچنين درپايان بحث شرق شناسي همدلانه را، با برشمردن مهمترين عوامل آن، پيش كشيده ايم.

Many expressed definition on «orientalism», including the western concept is the ambiguity of the term with negative connotations, especially in relation to the colonization of Europe, is verifiable. Edward Said's efforts for demystification of it, something of this complexity did not reduce, but anti-Western discourse, became the focus of the review. Emphasizing the contrast between the East (Asia) and the West (West), the distance between the subject and the fact that it creates in the mind of the researcher, the distance that making false image of the subject. Change this term in this subject, it is a sign of Western approach and unfortunately these changes by critics, especially Muslims, are ignored. Ignoring the role of time in the definition, especially in the field of Islamic studies in the West, the conflict affected and frozen concept to cash drag has more depth differences. This paper attempts to investigate ways of making the term «orientalism» in European culture, or territory of its applications, our understanding of the East, the East evolution of Western thought and cooperation of Muslims, Islamic studies, to modern challenges and paradigm shift east of the deal.
