A Relationship between Spiritual Intelligence and Psychological Capital with Academic Performance among Students in Kashan University of Medical Sciences in 2016

زمينه و هدف: هوش معنوي و سرمايه روان شناختي، رويكردي هستند كه به فرد در جهت هماهنگي با محيط، سلامت، بهبود عملكرد و خلاقيت ياري مي­رسانند. لذا هدف تحقيق حاضر تحليل رابطه­ ي بين هوش معنوي و سرمايه روان شناختي با عملكرد تحصيلي دانشجويان دانشگاه علوم پزشكي كاشان بود. روش بررسي: نوع تحقيق توصيفي–همبستگي بود. جامعه­ي آماري شامل دانشجويان دانشگاه علوم پزشكي كاشان بودند كه تعداد 294 نفر به روش نمونه گيري تصادفي به­ عنوان نمونه انتخاب گرديدند. ابزار گردآوري اطلاعات شامل پرسشنامه هوش معنوي در 40 گويه و پرسشنامه سرمايه روان شناختي در 24 گويه با مقياس پنج درجه ­اي ليكرت بود. روايي ابزارها، به ­صورت محتوايي تاييد شد. پايايي از طريق ضريب آلفاي كرونباخ براي پرسشنامه هوش معنوي 82/0 و سرمايه روان شناختي 91/0 برآورد گرديد. تحليل داده­ها در سطح توصيفي و استنباطي با استفاده از نرم افزار آماري SPSS نسخه 22 انجام گرفت. يافته­ ها: يافته­ ها نشان داد ميانگين مولفه­ هاي هوش معنوي (50/0±20/3) و سرمايه روان شناختي (41/0±51/3) بالاتر از حد متوسط بود. بين هوش معنوي و عملكرد تحصيلي (25/0=P-Value) و سرمايه روان شناختي و عملكرد تحصيلي (19/0=P-Value) رابطه مثبت و معنادار وجود داشت. نتيجه گيري: طبق يافته­ ها، هوش معنوي و سرمايه روان شناختي بالاتر با عملكرد تحصيلي بهتر، همراه بود. از طريق توجه به رشد ابعاد هوش‌ معنوي و سرمايه روان شناختي، مي‌توان زمينه‌هاي بهبود عملكرد تحصيلي در دانشجويان را فراهم آورد.

Background and objectives: Spiritual intelligence and psychological capital are an approach that help ones to adapt with environment, health, performance and creativity. Therefore, the purpose of this research was analysis of relationship between spiritual intelligence and psychological capital academic performance among students in Kashan University of Medical Sciences. Martials and methods: The type of research was correlative descriptive. The statistical population consisted of students of Kashan University of Medical Sciences that 294 students were selected by stratified random sampling. The data collection tool was a spiritual intelligence questionnaire in 40 items and a psychological capital inventory questionnaire in 24 items with five degrees Likert scale. The validity of the contents of tools was verified. Reliability was estimated by Cronbach's alpha coefficient for spiritual intelligence 0.82 and psychological capital of 0.91. Data analysis was done at descriptive and inferential level using SPSS software version 22. Results: The findings showed that means of spiritual intelligence components (3.20±0.50) and psychological capital (3.51±0.41) were higher than average (3). Also there are significant and positive relation between spiritual intelligence with academic performance (r=0.25) and psychological capital with academic performance (r=0.19). Conclusion: According to the findings, spiritual intelligence and higher psychological capital were associated with better academic performance. By improving the dimensions of spiritual intelligence and psychological capital, it is possible to improve the academic performance of students.
