A daughter is in the castle; daughters and their stories

شماري از قلعه‌هاي ايران قلعه دختر نام دارند. درباره دلايل انتخاب اين نام دو نظر اصلي بيان شده است. نخست اينكه به‌دليل سختيِ دسترسي و ناممكن بودن تصرف آن‌ها چنين ناميده شده‌اند، ديگر اينكه اين نام نشان‌دهنده اختصاص اين اماكن در گذشته‌اي دور به ايزدي باستاني همچون اناهيتاست. نظر اخير به‌دليل تمايل ايرانيان معاصر به بازشناختن مضامين باستاني در آثار و بناهاي تاريخي، محبوبيت نسبتاً زيادي يافته و به نوبه خود، شناسايي منشأ برخي از مكان‌هاي مقدس، همچون زيارتگاه‌هاي زنانه زرتشتيان و مسلمانان را تحت‌تأثير قرار داده است. اين مقاله اعتبار تاريخي اين دو نظر را ارزيابي مي‌كند و نشان مي‌دهد كه اين نام‌گذاري، به دشواررس بودن ادعاشده آن قلعه‌ها و يا دين باستاني ايران ارتباطي ندارد. اين مقاله نشان مي‌دهد كه نام‌گذاري اين قلعه‌ها محصول خيال‌پردازي عامه مردم بوده و از گنجينه قصه‌ها و روايت‌هاي عاميانه‌ بهره برده و بُن‌مايه مشترك آن‌ها، حضور دختري در قلعه است. گونه‌هايي از قصه‌هاي عاميانه كه با نام‌گذاري قلعه‌ دخترها در ارتباط بوده‌اند، در اين بررسي معرفي شده‌اند.

Some castles are called daughters’ castle. There are two main points about the reasons to choose this name. First, because of the difficulty of access and the impossibility of siege, they are called like this. In addition, this name indicates the attribution of these places in ancient times to ancient goddesses such as Anahita. The recent commentary on the tendency of contemporary Iranians to recognize ancient themes in monuments and works of art have become relatively popular and have thus influenced the identification of the origin of some sacred places, such as the sanctuaries of Zoroastrian mosques and Muslim. This article assesses the historical validity of these two points of view and suggests that this designation is not related to the complication of the claimed castles or the ancient Iranian religion. This article shows that the denomination of these castles is as a result of the people's fantasy and uses the treasure of folk tales. Their common theme is the presence of a girl in the castle. The types of folk tales associated with the naming of the castles of girls are presented in this article.
