Introduction and identification key of stored astigmatic mites (Acari: Astigmata) of rice in Guilan Province

كنه­ هاي راسته­ Astigmata داراي انتشار جهاني بوده و برخي گونه ها از مهم­ترين آفات محصولات انباري هستند. طي سال ­هاي 1385-1384، بررسي فونستيك براي جمع ­آوري و شناسايي كنه­ هاي انباري برنج استان گيلان انجام شد. نمونه­ هاي برنج آلوده به كنه، جمع­ آوري و به آزمايشگاه كنه­ شناسي دانشكده كشاورزي دانشگاه گيلان منتقل شدند؛ كنه­ هاي موجود، با استفاده از قيف برليزاستخراج و درمحلول لاكتوفنل شفاف شدند؛ سپس در محيط هوير روي لام­ هاي ميكروسكوپي، نصب و با استفاده از منابع موجود شناسايي شدند. طي اين بررسي، نه گونه از راسته بي استيگمايان، متعلق به چهار خانواده و نه جنس، جمع ­آوري و شناسايي شدند. در بين آن­ ها هشت گونه براي فون كنه­ هاي استان گيلان جديد مي­ باشند كه با علامت (*) مشخص شده اند. اسامي گونه­ هاي شناسايي شده به شرح زير مي­ باشد: Acaridae Ewing and Nesbitt, 1942 Acarus siro* Linnaes, 1758 Aleuroglyphus ovatus* (Troupeau, 1878) Suidasia nesbitti* Hughes, 1948 Tyrophagus putrescentiae*(Schrank, 1781) Chortoglyphidae Berlese, 1897 Chortoglyphus arcuatus *(Troupeau, 1879) Glycyphagidae Berlese, 1887 Lepidoglyphus destructor*(Schrank, 1781) Glycyphagus privatus* Oudemans, 1903 Gohieria fusca (Oudemans, 1902) Histiostomatidae Kramer, 1876 = Anoetidae Oudemans, 1904 Histiostoma feroniarum*(Dufour, 1839)

The astigmatic mites are cosmopolitan and some species are the most important pests of stored products. During 2006-2007, a faunal study was carried out to collect and identify rice stored mites in Guilan Province, Northern Iran. Infected rice samples were collected and taken to acarology laboratory Agriculture College, University of Guilan. The mites were extracted by Berlese funnel and cleared in lactophenol; they were mounted in Hoyer’s medium on microscopic slides and identified using available references. During this study, 9 species of Astigmata belonging to four families and 9 genera, were collected and identified. Among them 8 species considered to be new records for Guilan Province mite fauna which are marked by an asterisk (*).
