چكيده فارسي :
رمان طوبي و معناي شب، بازخواني چند دهه از تاريخ ايران است، كه پيچيده شده در فضايي وهم آلود و اسطورهاي با قهرماني به نام طوبي دارد. او كه نامش نيز نمادين است، در جوار پدري دانشمند بهنام اديب پرورش مييابد. اين رمان شاخصترين اثر داستاني شهرنوش پارسيپور است كه در اوج انقلاب مشروطه و حوادث پس از آن تا رسيدن به دورۀ پهلوي است. نويسنده در اين رمان، زندگي زني را به تصوير ميكشد كه عليرغم وجود تمام محدوديتهاي آن زمان براي زنان، توانسته است در سايۀ تعاليم مردان آگاه، تمام زندگي خود را مصروف رسيدن به حقيقت كند. آنچه بررسي، اين رمان را، درخور اهميت ميكند، اين است كه محوريت داستان بر اساس شخصيت طوبي به عنوان نمونۀ برجستۀ زنان هم عصر خود است؛ اما زنان ديگر رمان، اغلب يا از نوع و نمونۀ افراد عقب مانده يا جاهلي هستند كه در آنها هيچ قدرتي براي جذب ديده نميشود، يا زناني هستند متجدد، كه طوبي بخاطر بينش سنتي خود، از آنها روي گردان است. اين اثر با ايجاد فضايي وهمآلود و با استفاده از مضاميني مانند اسطوره، نماد و آركي تايپ، نشان ميدهد كه استعداد آفرينندگي زنان، در صورت قرار گرفتن در كنار قدرت مردان، ميتواند باعث نجات بشر از تيرگيها شود. اين مقاله برآن است تا ضمن بررسي كاركرد كهن الگوها به ويژه آنيموس در قهرمان، به باورهاي نمادين و اسطورهاي بپردازد و از اين رهگذار به اين سؤال پاسخ دهد كه چگونه ميتوان با مطالعۀ ريشههاي فكري و فرهنگي، ستيزههاي جنسيتي را پايان بخشيد.

Tooba Va Ma’nay – e shab rereads several decades of the history of Iran, which is wrapped in a mysterious and mythical aura, with a heroine called Tooba. She, whose name is also symbolic, is nurtured under the influence of her father, who is a scientist. The novel is Shahrnush Parsipur’s most characteristic work of fiction at the height of the Constitutional Revolution and its aftermath until the Pahlavi period. The author of the novel, depicts the life of a woman who, despite all the limitations of the time for women, has managed, in light of the teachings of intellectual men, to devote her whole life to get to the truth. What makes the study of this novel significant, is the fact that the story lives around Tooba who is a fine example of her cotemporary women. But other women in the novel, are often either ignorant or backward who lack any power of attraction or are modern in behavior on whom, Tuba turns her back due to her traditional values. This work, through creating an eerie atmosphere and by using themes such as myths, symbols and archetypes, shows that the creative talent of women, if accompanied by male power can save mankind from the dark. This article aims to investigate the function of archetypes and to pay attention to symbolic and mythical beliefs and, through this, to give an answer to the question “how is it possible, by studying intellectual and cultural roots, to end the gender conflicts?”
