تجربه ديني

تجربه ديني يكي از مصطلحات جديد غربيان در حوزه دين‌پژوهي است. مراد آنان از اين اصطلاح در عين اختلافي كه در تفسير آن دارند اتصال آدمي است با امر قدسي. اين اصطلاح در متون اسلام و مسلمانان نيامده، هر چند در كتابهاي عرفاني اصطلاحاتي قريب به آن موجود است. در اين مقاله اصطلاح تجربه ديني به معنايي اعم از آنچه مقصود غربيان است به كار رفته طوري كه در برگيرنده تجربه عرفاني و تجربه فلسفي نيز هست. اين مقاله پس از توضيح مختصر تجربه ظاهري و تجربه باطني به توضيح دو تجربه عرفاني و فلسفي مي‌پردازد و بعد از آن تجربه ديني را به منزله طيفي گسترده از شناخت عقلي و قلبي ابتدايي فطري از خدا تا شناخت عميق فلسفي و معرفت و گرايش عرفاني و از آنها بالاتر تا مرحله نبوت و دريافت وحي مورد بحث قرار مي‌دهد.

Religious [a1] experience is a new western topic in religious studies. Although there are different interpretations; in general, religious experience refers to the connection of human being to the Sacred. There is no match for this expression in Islamic texts; however, there are expressions with similar connotations in the theosophical texts. In this article the term religious experience is used in a general framework such that it contains the theosophical and philosophical experiences as well. Reviewing the apparent and internal experiences, the author goes on to explain the theosophical and philosophical experiences. It then discusses the religious experience, as a wide source of knowledge ranging from the knowledge of God to a deep pilosophical cognition and mystical tendency, and even as a source of revelation.
