چكيده فارسي :
جدال 150 ساله مفاهيم مدرن سياسي با مفاهيم سنتي، هنوز پايان نيافته است لذا انسان ايراني معاصر، در هاج و واج روي‌آوري به اين(مفاهيم مدرن) يا آن(مفاهيم سنتي) قرار دارد و از اين رو، در حل دوگانگي حاكم بر حيات سياسي- اجتماعي خود درعرصه مفاهيم، ناتوان مانده است. (مسأله) چه بايد كرد؟ در نيل به راه حلي در اين زمينه، نحوه مواجهه عالمان ديني(سئوال اصلي) و در گام نخست، چگونگي روش بومي سازي عالماني چون سيدجمال‌الدين اسدآبادي را مورد بررسي قرار مي‌دهد. (سئوال فرعي) البته به نظر مي‌رسد روش بومي سازي سيدجمال، با استدلال حفظ اصالت، متمركز بر تحميل معاني سنتي بر مفاهيم مدرن سياسي است.(فرضيه)
براي پاسخ گويي به بخشي از سئوال اصلي و به منظورجواب دهي به سئوال فرعي و جهت سنجش فرضيه مذكور، ابتدا رهيافت سنتي عرضه مي‌شود. البته اين رهيافت از رهيافت‌هاي رايج در روش شناسي علوم سياسي نيست اما گمان ما بر اين است كه تنها رهيافتي است كه بيشترين هم پوشاني را با روش بومي سازي مفاهيم مدرن سياسي در نزد سيدجمال دارد. گام بعدي، استخراج مفاهيم مدرن سياسي در گفته‌ها و نوشته‌هاي سيدجمال و كشف مواجهه وي با اين مفاهيم است. آزمايش درستي و نادرستي فرضيه، بخش پاياني مقاله را در برمي‌گيرد.

Not after 150 years, has the conflict between political modern concepts and traditional ones got over, therefore, for the contemporary Iranian people, once encountering with such concepts, nothing but confusion is resulted and they are impotent in solving the governing dichotomy on their socio-political life. What should be done? To achieve a solution in this context, the way how religious scholars exposure to this problem (the main question), mainly Seyed Jamal Asadabadi, with his localization methods, (Subsidiary Question) will be considered. It, of course, seems his method, based on maintaining authenticity, imposes the traditional meanings on modern political concepts. (Hypothesis)
So that the main question partially and, the subsidiary one totally to be answered and the hypothesis to be accessed, the traditional approach is going to be offered. Although this approach is not of the common approach in the methodology of political sciences, it, in our opinion, is the only approach that possesses most overlap with the localization method of modern political concepts in Seyed Jamal`s view. Extracting the modern political concepts in the sayings and writings of Sayed Jamal and discovering his way of encountering with these concepts is the next step taken in this paper and, at last, Correctness and incorrectness of the hypothesis will be tested.
