چكيده فارسي :
اهل بيت (ع) به گروهي از منسوبان نسبي پيامبر (ص) اطلاق مي‌شود كه حاصل پيوند ازدواج علي (ع) و فاطمه (س) هستند. اين تلقي شيعه از مفهوم اهل بيت (ع) است. دانشمندان اهل سنت ضمن پذيرش كلي اين تعريف و مسلم‌دانستن آن مي‌كوشند دايره اهل بيت را به برخي منسوبان ديگر و همسران پيامبر (ص) تسرّي دهند. در ادبيات آنها، صدق عنوان «اهل بيت» بر تعريف شيعي قطعي است، ولي با ترديد و اعتقاد به تشتت ديدگاه‌ها، با تكلف، ديگران را هم وارد عنوان «اهل بيت» مي‌كنند. در اين تلاش، معناي لغوي «اهل» و «بيت» بيشتر مطمح نظر است. البته اضطراب در كلام در تعيين ملاك عضو «اهل بيت» بودن، به‌وضوح خود را نمايان مي‌كند. زيرا آنها معتقدند صدقه بر اهل بيت (ع) حرام است. با اين ملاك، دامنه مصداقي «اهل بيت» محدود مي‌شود و همسران پيامبر (ص) از آن خارج مي‌گردند. با احتساب اين ملاك، علاوه بر آل علي، ممكن است آل جعفر، آل عقيل و آل عباس نيز در شمول مصداقي «اهل بيت» داخل شوند. اما در تاريخ مكتوب اهل سنت، هر جا «اهل بيت (ع)» و «ائمه اهل بيت (ع)» به صورت مطلق به كار رفته، يا در آيات قرآني همچون آيه تطهير و مباهله يا موضوعات اختلافي، اهل بيت (ع) به مفهوم شيعي آن مد نظر بوده است. در اين مقاله مي‌كوشيم ضمن بيان مفهوم «اهل بيت (ع)» و شمول مصداقي آن، استعمال اين عنوان را در ادبيات علماي اهل سنت بكاويم.

The expression Ahl-al- Bayt (a) refers to the household of the Prophet including Ali and Fatimah (a) and those offsprings of their marriage. This view is held by Shiites. Sunni scholars, agreeing with Shiite view, have tried to expand its meaning and to include some other Prophets, relatives and wives. This article tries to present the literal meaning of “Ahl”, family, and “Bayt”, house. Needless to say, vagueness of the meaning of Ahl-al- Bayt complicates the subject, for it is believed that charity, Sadaqat, is forbidden for Ahl- al- Bayt. On this basis, one may not consider the Prophet`s wives as belonging to Ahl-al- Bayt. Regarding this norm, Al-e Ali, Al-e Ja`far, Al-e Aqil and Al-e Abbas may also be included in Ahl-al- Bayt. However, in Sunni recorded history, where the absolute form of Ahl-al- Bayt and A`immah-e Ahl-al- Bayt are used, or in Quranic verses such as the verse Tathir and Mubahili or in diversity of opinions, the Shiite belief has been meant. In this paper, it has been intended to study the expression Ahl-al- Bayt and its referent inclusiveness as is found in Sunni`s works.
