Relationship between Social Safety and Attitude toward Criminal Behaviors among Male High School Students

مقدمه: تنيدگي زندگي بشر امروز با شرايط جامعه‌اي كه در آن زندگي مي‌كند، امنيت اجتماعي را يكي از نيازهاي اساسي براي رسيدن به رشد و خودشكوفايي قرار داده است. فقدان امنيت اجتماعي، از جمله نتايج وقوع جرم و بزهكاري در هر جامعه است كه مي‌تواند در يك چرخه معيوب به وقوع بيشتر جرم بينجامد. اين در حاليست كه نگرش خوب يا بد به هر عمل، از جمله عوامل مهم در انجام يا ترك آن عمل است. در مقاله حاضر، رابطه بين امنيت اجتماعي و نگرش به رفتارهاي بزهكارانه در دانش‌آموزان پسر گزارش شده است. روش‌: اين پژوهش، به روش كمي پيمايشي و با شيوه نمونه‌گيري تصادفي خوشه‌اي، روي 232 نفر از دانش‌آموزان پسر دبيرستان‌هاي منطقه 7 آموزش و پرورش شهر تهران انجام شده است. نمونه‌گيري به روش تصادفي خوشه‌اي انجام گرفت. داده‌ها با استفاده از پرسشنامه‌هاي امنيت اجتماعي صحابي (1389) و سنجش نگرش به رفتارهاي بزهكارانه افضلي (1389) جمع‌آوري شدند. شركت در اين پژوهش داوطلبانه بود نتايج پژوهش حاضر، با استفاده از آزمون‌هاي خي دو و اسپيرمن گزارش شده‌اند. نتايج: نتايج پژوهش حاضر، حاكي از فقدان رابطه معنادار بين امنيت اجتماعي و نگرش به بزهكاري است. اما بين متغير‌هاي عملكرد نيروي انتظامي و نگرش منفي به بزهكاري و بين متغيرهاي قوانين حكومتي و نگرش مثبت و منفي به بزهكاري رابطه معنادار گزارش شده است. بحث و نتيجه‌گيري: عدم تأييد رابطه بين امنيت اجتماعي و نگرش به رفتارهاي بزهكارانه با نظريه‌هايي كه در اين حوزه مطرح شده‌اند در تعارض قرار دارد. به نظر مي‌رسد تكرار اين پژوهش با گروه‌هاي ديگر و رفع محدوديت‌هايي كه در اين مطالعه وجود داشت براي اظهار نظر در مورد تأثير امنيت اجتماعي بر نگرش به رفتارهاي بزهكارانه ضرورت داشته باشد.

Introduction: Nowadays the people’s lives are so widely merged with the community they are parts of that turns social safety to one of the basic requirements of growth and self-efflorescence. The lack of social safety is a result of committing the crimes and misdemeanor in any community which -in a vicious cycle- can lead to more crimes. However, the attitude toward a behavior is of the main factors influencing doing or quitting it. The present paper addresses the relationship between social safety and the attitude toward a criminal behaviors in male high school students. Methodology: The present study has been carried out through a quantitative survey and the sampling method has been cluster random sampling. It was carried out on 232 male high school students of Tehran education region 7. Chi-square and spearman tests were used to report the results of the present study. Results: There were no significant relationship between the social safety and attitude toward criminal behaviors. But there were a significant relationship between police performance and negative attitude toward criminal behaviors. Not only were there a significant relationship between age participations and negative attitude toward criminal behaviors, but also there were a significant relationship between age participations and police performance. Conclusions: Finding no significant relationship between the social safety and attitude toward a criminal behaviors is in conflict with theories in this area. It seems conducting this research with other groups and resolving limitations of this enquiry is essential to study the relationship between social safety and attitude toward a criminal behaviors.
