تأثير زبان نمايه‌سازي بر رتبه‌بندي تصاوير در موتور كاوش گوگل

The impact of Indexing Language on Image Ranking in Google Search Engine

هدف پژوهش حاضر، تعيين تأثير زبان نمايه‌سازي بر رتبه‌بندي تصاوير در موتور كاوش گوگل است. به‌منظور نيل به اين هدف، چگونگي رتبه‌بندي نتايج جست‌وجو در نمايه‌سازي تصاوير با استفاده از زبان آزاد و زبان كنترل‌شده در موتور كاوش گوگل بررسي شده است. روش: پژوهش به روش تجربي انجام شده است. جامعۀ پژوهش، 30 تصوير از تمبرهاي قديمي ايران مربوط به سال‌هاي 1331 تا 1357 بود. براي اجراي اين پژوهش، دو سايت با استفاده از دو حساب كاربري در محيط گوگل ايجاد شد و اين تصاوير در هر دو سايت بارگذاري شدند، با اين تفاوت كه عناوين تمبرها در سايت 1 بر اساس زبان كنترل‌شده و در سايت دو بر اساس زبان آزاد درج شدند. نمايه‌سازي بر اساس زبان كنترل‌شده در اين پژوهش، با همكاري و مشورت ويراستاران اصطلاح‌نامۀ مواد گرافيكي كتابخانۀ كنگرة آمريكا انجام شد. پس از گذشت يك بازۀ زماني 40 روزه، تصاوير در بخش جست‌وجوي تصاوير موتور كاوش گوگل جست‌وجو شدند و رتبۀ تصاوير بازيابي‌شده در هر دو گروه بررسي شد. يافته‌ها: درتجزيه و تحليل توصيفي، امتياز رتبه‌هاي تصاوير بازيابي‌شده در دو گروه محاسبه و در تجزيه و تحليل استنباطي براي مقايسۀ رتبه‌بندي نتايج جست‌وجوي تصاوير از آزمون t مستقل استفاده شد. نتايج حاصل از اين پژوهش نشان مي‌دهد كه استفاده از زبان نمايه‌سازي آزاد در مقايسه با زبان كنترل‌شده در بارگذاري تصاوير در اينترنت، تأثير مثبتي در رتبه‌بندي نتايج جست‌وجوي اين تصاوير به‌وسيلۀ موتور كاوش گوگل دارد.

The purpose of this study was to determine influence on indexing language in ranking the results of image searching in the Google search engine. An experimental method was conducted. The population in this study was 30 old stamps of the years 1952 to 1978. For doing this study, two sites were designed on the Web. In the first site 30 images were uploaded based on the controlled language and in second site 30 images were uploaded based on free language. In this study index of the controlled language was prepared by consultation with the editors of the Library of Congress Thesaurus of Graphic Materials in USA. After 40-days period of time, the images were searched in the Google image search engine. In descriptive analysis, the data were summarized using frequency tables. Also, for further analysis, independent t-test was used. Results show that the total score of images with controlled language indexing was 254, and ranking 1 had the highest frequency of 30 percent of total scores of rankings. The total score for images with free language indexing was 264, and ranking 1 has the highest frequency as 40 percent of total scores of rankings. Finally, the comparison of results show that total score of rankings for the case of using free language indexing was more that total score for images with controlled language indexing. The results of this study indicate that using free language indexing had significantly affected the rankings of these images in retrieving images in Google search engine.
