زمينه و هدف: امنيت به عنوان مهم ترين موضوع و موتور محرك توسعه يافتگي مطرح مي شود. با توجه به سكونت اقوام مختلف ايراني واقليت‌هاي مذهبي درجداره‌هاي مرزي كشورو همچنين فضاي آنارشيك محيط امنيتي و پيراموني،توجه به تهديدات مرزي يك دغدغه جدي محسوب مي‌شود. اين پژوهش با هدف شناسايي چالش‌هاي محيط امنيتي جمهوري اسلامي‌ايران و تاثير آن بر امنيت محيطي كشور با تاكيد بر روحيه تجزيه طلبي قوميت‌ها در جدار مرزها انجام گرفته است. روش: پژوهش حاضر از نظر هدف كاربردي و از نظر شيوه اجرا توصيفي پيمايشي است. جامعه آماري پژوهش متشكل از 250 نفر دانشجويان و اساتيد دانشگاه دفاع ملي و كارشناسان نظامي، سياسي و امنيتي هستند كه از اين تعداد 120 نفربه عنوان نمونه انتخاب شدند. داده با استفاده از پرسشنامه محقق ساخته، پايايي با روش آلفاي كرونباخ95 درصد مورد تاييد قرار گرفت همچنين جمع آوري با استفاده از آزمون‌هاي آماري و نرم افزارspss تجزيه و تحليل شده است يافته‌ها و نتايج پژوهش نشان داد از بين مولفه‌هاي «محيط امنيتي» حضور قدرتهاي فرامنطقه ايي در محيطهاي مورد مناقشه قومي، سياستهاي اطلاعاتي قدرتهاي فراملي در تامين منافع در اين مناطق ، و همچنين در ميزان اثرگذاري امنيت محيطي متاثر از محيط امنيتي ج.ا.ا بر روحيه تجزيه طلبي قوميت ها در جدار مرزها به ترتيب اولويت افزايش رفاه و توسعه و تحركات اقتصادي مناطق قومي و مرزي ، بازسازي امنيت پايدار و ساختار سياسي اجتماعي بر اساس يكپارچه ملي وبراي تقويت توانمندي‌هاي مديريت محيط امنيتي و امنيت محيطي جمهوري اسلامي ايران نيز بيش ازهمه موارد، عملياتي شدن مكانيسم ايده-منفعت-ساختار در محيط امنيتي در كنار حضور قدرتمند در محيط پيراموني مي‌تواند اثرگذار باش
