An Investigation into the Grammar of the Abuzeydabadi Dialect

گويش ابوزيدآبادي1 يكي از گويش‌هاي ناحيۀ مركزي ايران است. اين گويش در بخش كويرات به مركزيت شهر ابوزيدآباد رايج است. اين شهر در سي‌كيلومتري جنوب شرقي كاشان واقع شده است. ابوزيدآبادي از نظر دستوري، نسبت به فارسي ويژگي‌هايي دارد كه آن را از زبان فارسي كنوني متمايز مي‌كند. در اين مقاله، نويسنده مي‌كوشد برخي از ويژگي‌هاي آوايي و دستوري اين گويش را توصيف و تحليل كند. كاربرد تقريباً چهارده مصوت كوتاه و بلند و حضور جنس دستوري و تأثير آن بر اكثر اسامي، و تعداد زيادي از ساخت‌هاي فعلي و رواج و كاربرد قابل‌توجهي از پيشوندهاي اشتقاقي ـ كه امروزه در فارسي نيمه‌فعال يا مرده‌اندـ و... تعدادي از ويژگي‌هاي اين گويش به شمار مي‌روند. همچنين اين مقاله نشان خواهد داد كه ابوزيدآبادي به عنوان امانتدار زبان فارسي، نكات زبان‌شناسي قابل‌توجهي از فارسي دري و حتي فارسي ميانه (پهلوي) و فارسي باستان را به درستي در خود پاسداري كرده است.

Abuzeydabadi is a dialect spoken in central areas of Iran. This dialect is prevalent in Kavirat district in city of Abuzeydabad. This city is located in thirty kilometers from southeast of Kashan. Compared to standard Persian, Abuzeydabadi dialect brims with distinctive features in terms of grammar which distinguishes it from the current Persian language. The present study aims to describe and analyze some of the phonological and grammatical features of this dialect. Among the distinctive features of Abuzeydabadi dialect, one might think of using fourteen short and long vowels, existence of grammatical gender and its effect upon most names, and numerous verb forms and widespread and extensive use of derivational prefixes which are regarded as semi-active or dead prefixes in current Persian. Furthermore, this paper will discuss that the Abuzeydabadi dialect, as a preserver of Persian language, has faithfully preserved considerable linguistic structures from Dari Persian as well as middle Persian (Pahlavi) and old Persian.
