جلوه‌هاي بي‌ادبي كلامي در تلويزيون در چارچوب نظرية گفتمان كالپپر مطالعه موردي: سريال «مادرانه»

Verbal Impoliteness Patterns in Iranian Television Series with Culpeper Discourse Theory Framework Case study: Madaraneh

وجهه، خود انگارة عمومي است كه هر فرد براي خود قائل است. وجهه، عبارت ­است از احترامي كه هر فرد براي خود و آبروي خود قائل است. از طرفي، ادب توجه به وجهة طرف گفت­وگو در طول مكالمه و در مقابل، بي­ادبي تهديد وجهه است. كالپپر (2011) در نظرية گفتمان خود به راهكارهاي اعمال بي‌ادبي براساس سه نوع وجهة فردي، رابطه‌اي، اجتماعي و دو نوع حقوق اجتماعي تساوي و وابستگي و ارتباط اين مفاهيم اشاره مي‌كند. اين رويكرد بر عواملي چون بافت، هنجارهاي اجتماعي و احساسات متمركز و داراي ويژگي جمع­مداري وجهه است. از اين‌رو با چنين رويكردي مي‌توان پديدة بي­ادبي كلامي را در سريال­هاي خانوادگي ايراني بررسي كرد. اين پژوهش در چارچوب اين نظريه به اين سؤال پاسخ مي‌دهد كه نظرية گفتمان كالپپر در سريال «مادرانه» از چه زوايايي قابل بحث و اين سريال حاوي كدام يك از الگوهاي بي­ادبي كلامي است. به اين منظور تعداد 30 نمونه از گفت­و­گوهاي حاوي ارتباط ميان انواع وجهه و حقوق اجتماعي به روش نمونه ­گيري هدفمند، انتخاب و از روش توصيفي ـ تحليلي براي تحليل آنهااستفاده شده است. يافته ها نشان مي­دهند كه همة الگوهاي بي­ادبي كلامي شامل تهديد وجهة فردي، رابطه‌اي و اجتماعي با توجه به حقوق اجتماعي با جلوه ­هاي مختلف در اين سريال بكار رفته كه در اين بين الگوي تهديد وجهة رابطه­اي به ميزان 6/86 درصد داراي بالاترين ميزان وقوع است.

Prestige is the general self-image and a kind of respect that a person considers for him/herself. Paying attention to somebody during the conversation is considered politeness and on the other hand, impoliteness is an attack to one’s prestige. In fact, all efforts made by a person to observe politeness to others, are considered prevention of his/her prestige from threatening (Brown & Levinson, 1987). Culpeper (2011) in his discourse theory points to different strategies of impoliteness based on quality/ relational/ social prestige and equities such as, social rights and association rights and also close relations between these concepts. Since Culpeper’s approach is based on factors like context, social norms and feelings and also contains collectivism aspect of prestige, so it could be employed to analyze verbal impoliteness in the Iranian TV family serials. This study is aimed to answer the question of which aspects of this theory can be discussed in “Madarane” TV serial and which patterns of verbal impoliteness it follows. For this purpose, based on purposive sampling, 30 samples of dialogues including relations between kinds of prestige and social rights were selected and analyzed by descriptive-analytical method. The results showed that all the verbal impoliteness patterns including attack to the personal prestige, relational and social, were used in this serial and among them the relational prestige attack, by 86/6 percent, were at the highest rate.
