Explanation of Socratic dialectic aspects and teaching method: A strategy for improving the schools' teaching-learning process

هدف پژوهش، تبيين مباني فلسفي روش تدريس سقراطي به‌ منظور ارائه راهبردي جهت بهبود فرايند ياددهي - يادگيري در مدارس، بوده است. از دو روش پژوهش كيفي شامل؛ تحليل مفهومي و كاوشگري فلسفي انتقادي، استفاده شده است. ابتدا به تحليل مباني فلسفي روش تدريس سقراطي پرداخته شد. در ادامه نحوه كاربست اين روش در مدارس همراه با نقدهايي در اين زمينه جهت كاربست آن بحث گرديد. يافته‌ها دلالت بر آن دارد ‌كه سقراط يكي از بزرگ‌ترين انديشمندان مغرب زمين با روش گفتگوييِ معروف خود، تحول بزرگي در تاريخ انديشه‌ بشر ايجاد كرده است. روش تدريس سقراطي مي تواند؛ الگويي براي ترغيب شاگردان به پژوهش مشترك بوده و در تقويت مهارت‌هاي تفكر انتقادي و نيز فرايند كسب عادات لازم براي مشاركت در جامعه، به دانش آموزان كمك دهد. معلمان با به‌كارگيري روش سقراطي و نيز طرح سوال‌هاي مناسب، مي‌توانند دانش آموزان را به بررسي استدلال‌هاي خود و ديگران فراخوانده تا كاستي‌هاي منطقي باورها و افكار گوناگون را دريابند. به‌كارگيري چنين روشي در عين اين‌كه به انتخاب عاقلانه ارزش‌ها منتهي مي‌گردد، موجبات رشد تفكر منطقي در شاگردان را نيز فراهم مي‌سازد.

The main purpose of this research is explanation of Socratic dialectic aspects and teaching method as a strategy for improving the schools' teaching-learning process. In this order, with a qualitative method in kind of descriptive-analytic (document analysis), firstly, Socratic dialectic and then the philosophical foundations of Socratic teaching method are described. Then, the feasibility study of utilizing of this method in schools together with it's critiques in order to much quality utilizing. The results imply that Socrates is one of the greatest western thinkers who had been developed a great evolution in the history of thinking with his famous method of dialogue. Socratic teaching method is a model for encouraging students' participation for collective research performance and for helping those for nurturing the critical thinking skills and necessary habits for participate in society. The teachers with using Socratic Method and projecting the suitable questions can invite their students to review own and others' arguments to find the logical incompetency of different beliefs and thoughts. Using of such method while conclude to reasonable choosing of values, also provide logical thoughts growth in students.
