Information Needs of People with Disability participating in supported employment program

زمينه و هدف :ارتقاء كيفيت زندگي افراد داراي معلوليت جسمي-حركتي در گرو تأمين نيازهاي اطلاعاتي آنها صورت مي­ گيرد. اشتغال نقش كليدي در زندگي اين افراد ايفا مي­ كند و اشتغال حمايتي عنوان راهكاري در جهت بهبود زندگي آنها محسوب مي­ شود. پژوهش حاضر بررسي نياز اطلاعاتي افراد داراي معلوليتي است كه با عنوان توان ياب در برنامه­ هاي اشتغال حمايتي شركت مي­كنند. روش: پژوهش به صورت كيفي و با شيوه گراندد تئوري (نظريه داده بنياد) به بررسي نيازهاي اطلاعاتي توان ­يابان شركت كننده در طرح اشتغال حمايتي مجتمع رعد پرداخت. داده­هاي مورد نياز در اين پژوهش از مصاحبه­ هاي نيمه ساختار يافته با بيست و چهار توان­ ياب و هميار شغلي كه به صورت هدفمند و نظري انتخاب شدند، گردآوري شد و مصاحبه ­ها تا اشباع داده­ ها ادامه يافت. سپس طي سه مرحله كدگذاري باز، محوري و انتخابي كه شيوه مورد استفاده در پژوهش گراندد تئوري است نيازهاي اطلاعاتي افراد داراي معلوليت شركت­كننده در برنامه اشتغال حمايتي استخراج و دسته بندي شد. يافته­ ها: نتايج مطالعه حاكي از نيازهاي اطلاعاتي متنوع در اين افراد بود كه در قالب چهار طبقه اصلي (1) اخبار و اطلاعات عمومي، (2) توانمند سازي و رفع مشكلات شخصي و خانوادگي، (3) پژوهش، آموزش، يادگيري مادام العمر و (4) اطلاعات تخصصي و شغلي قرار گرفت. مهم­ترين راه­ هاي ارتباطي توان­يابان در كسب اطلاعات فوق در پنج مقوله شامل فضاي مجازي، رسانه­ هاي ارتباط جمعي، منابع اطلاعاتي انساني، جلسات و دوره­ هاي آموزشي و نهادهاي دولتي مسئول قرار گرفتند. نتيجه­گيري: با توجه به اهميت كسب اطلاعات توسط توان­يابان، رفع نگراني­ها و ساير نيازهاي اين افراد، توجه بيشتر به نيازهاي اطلاعاتي آنها ضروري به نظر مي­ رسد. اين نيازها در بسياري از موارد همانند نيازهاي افراد عادي جامعه بود. تفاوت­ هاي مشاهده شده ناشي از وضعيت جسمي- حركتي خاص اين گروه از جامعه است كه نهادهاي مسئول موظف به فراهم آوري امكانات لازم در جهت دسترسي هر چه بيشتر اين افراد به اطلاعات مورد نياز مي ­باشند

Background and Aim: Promotion of the life of people with disabilities depends on the provision of their information needs. Employment plays a key role in the lives of these people and is considered as a way to improve their lives. The present study is aimed at assessing the information needs of people with disabilities who participated in the supportive employment program. Methods: A qualitative research with the use of Grounded Theory examines the information needs of people with disability. The required data in this research were collected from semi-structured interviews with twenty four jobseekers who were purposefully and theoretically selected, and interviews continued to the saturation of data. Then, in the three stages of Open coding, Axial coding and Selective coding which are used in the Grounded Theory researches, the information needs of those with disabilities participated in the Supportive Employment Pragramme, were extracted. Results: The results of the study indicated that there was a wide variety of information needs in these four categories: general information and news, (2) empowerment and personal and family problems, (3) research, education, Lifelong Learning and (4) Professional and career information. The most important communication Channels were classified into five categories: cyberspace, mass media, human resources information, training courses, and responsible government bodies Conclusion: Due to the importance of obtaining information by the people with disability, eliminating their concerns and other needs of these people, attention to their information needs seems to be necessary. These needs were in many respects similar to those of ordinary people. The observed differences are due to the specific physical and mental status of this community, which the responsible institutions are required to provide the necessary facilities for access to the information they need.
