Landscaping Perspective in the Public Bathhouses, its Elements and its Functions

حمام عمومي از جمله فضاهاي مهم در ساختار شهر محسوب مي‌شد. اين فضا در دهه‌هاي اخير نقشي مهم در فضاي فرهنگي اجتماعي ايران ايفا كرده است. مكاني با خصوصيات معماري منحصر به ‌فرد كه كاركردهاي متفاوتي را در زندگي ايرانيان داشته است. به‌گونه‌اي كه در بررسي آن نمي‌توان صرفاً به فضاي كالبدي فارغ از معنا و مفهوم آن فضاها نگاه كرد و اين درواقع ضرورت نگاه منظرين به حمام عمومي را آشكار مي‌سازد. حمام به ‌عنوان يكي از عناصر شهر، علاوه بر كاركردهاي طبيعي خود در بهداشت و نظافت، كاركردهاي متفاوتي در ساختار جامعه و نقش مهمي در ارتباطات اجتماعي داشته است. در اين مقاله كه با روش توصيفي-تحليلي ارائه‌شده و ابزار جمع‌آوري اطلاعات آن، كتابخانه‌اي بوده است، به اجزاء مختلف حمام و كاركردهاي اجتماعي آن پرداخته ‌شده است. سعي بر آن است كه با نگاهي منظرين، برخي ديگر از دلايل رونق حمام‌ در ايران مورد بررسي قرار گيرد.

Over the last decades, public bathhouses as the essential spaces in the city have played an important role in the cultural and social context of Iran. Unique architectural features of this public space make it distinguishable from other building in terms of functions The public bathhouses have long been integrated into Iranian daily life. Thus, it cannot be viewed solely by its physical space, regardless of the meaning and significance of those spaces. Actually, it underlines the necessity of examining public bathhouses from a landscape perspective. Bath as an element of the city, not including its natural functions in sanitation, serve different functions in the structure of society and plays a crucial role in social communication. In this paper, data were collected and analyzed qualitatively .It has been devoted to the specific components of the public bathhouses and its social functions. Further, it is attempted to look at some of the other reasons for the boom in Iran.
