تحليلي بر روند رشد جمعيت و رشد فيزيكي شهر شاهرود

An Analysis of Population Growth and Physical Growth of Shahrood City

در پي تحولات پيچيده‌ي اقتصادي و فني پس از انقلاب صنعتي، تغييرات شديدي در اندازه‌ي شهرها و نسبت جمعيت ساكن در آن‌ها حاصل شد كه به دنبال آن آسيب‌هاي اجتماعي- اقتصادي و پيامدهاي نامطلوب زيست محيطي از جمله تخريب و تغيير كاربري اراضي كشاورزي، آلودگي هوا، آب و خاك را به همراه داشته است. در اين ميان توسعه‌ي فيزيكي و رشد جمعيتي شهرهاي ايران بسيار سريع و شتابنده عمل كرده است به‌طوري‌ كه در دهه‌هاي اخير رشد و گسترش شهرها به صورت نوعي معضل يا مسئله درآمده و لزوم توجه به مسائل شهري و به ويژه مسائل كالبدي آن در قالب چارچوبي علمي، اهميت و ضرورت يافته است. در اين راستا پژوهش حاضر با روش توصيفي- تحليلي در پي پاسخ‌گويي به اين سؤال است كه آيا در طي نيم‌قرن گذشته، رشد فيزيكي شهر شاهرود در راستاي پاسخ‌گويي به نيازهاي جمعيت و به عبارت ديگر، متناسب با جمعيت بوده است؟ اطلاعات گرداوري‌شده به روش اسنادي، به كمك مدلHoldern مورد تحليل قرار گرفته‌اند. نتيجه‌ي حاصل‌شده از مدل Holdern بيان مي‌دارد كه طي 55 سال گذشته، حدود 48 درصد از رشد فيزيكي شهر، مرتبط به رشد جمعيت و 52 درصد رشد شهر مربوط به رشد ناموزون شهر بوده است. بنا بر اين به منظور مقابله با رشد بي‌رويه‌ي شهر شاهرود و جلوگيري از تبعات جبران‌ناپذير آن بايد سياست‌هايي را در پيش گرفت كه بتواند با برنامه‌ريزي و مديريت صحيح، گامي به سوي توسعه‌ي پايدار شهري برداشت.

Following the complex economic and technological changes after the industrial revolution, there was a dramatic change in the size of the cities and the proportion of the population living there which has led to socio-economic damage and adverse environmental impacts, including destruction and alteration of agricultural land use, pollution of air, water and soil. In the meantime, the physical development and population growth in the cities of Iran has been very rapid, so that in recent decades, the growth and expansion of cities has become a problem and the importance of paying attention to urban issues, especially its physical issues, has become important in the context of scientific frameworks. In this regard, the present study, with descriptive-analytic method, tries to answer this question that during the last half century, has the physical growth of the city of Shahroud been in order to the needs of population? The information gathered through documents, analyzed using the Holdern model. The result from the Holdern model states that over the past 55 years, about 48% of the city's physical growth has been related to population growth and 52% of city's physical growth has been related to city's uneven growth. Therefore, in order to cope with the unnecessary growth of the city of Shahrud and preventing its irreparable consequences, there must be policies that can lead to sustainable urban development through proper planning and management.
