الگوي رأي‌دهي بيانگر نوع خاصي از رفتار سياسي است كه مبتني بر مجموعه هنجارها، ايستارها و نگرش‌هاي يك جامعه مي‌باشد. هدف از اين پژوهش، تحليل جامعه‌شناختي عوامل مؤثر بر الگوي رأي‌دهي در بين اعضاء هيأت علمي دانشگاه مي‌باشد. روش تحقيق پژوهش در جمع‌آوري و تجزيه و تحليل داده‌ها، روش پيمايشي و با استفاده از روش نمونه‌گيري تصادفي بر روي 150 نفر از اساتيد دانشگاه‌ها صورت گرفته است؛ كه اعتبار آن، به روش صوري و پايايي آن به كمك آماره‌ي آلفاي كرونباخ سنجيده شده است. در تجزيه و تحليل داده‌ها، از آمار توصيفي همچون ميانگين و جدول‌هاي توزيع فراواني و نيز روش‌هاي تحليلي مانند، آزمون همبستگي و تحليل رگرسيون خطي و لجستيك استفاده شده است. بر اساس يافته‌هاي حاصل از پژوهش؛ همبستگي معناداري بين ابعاد الگوي رأي‌دهي و ابعاد شبكه‌هاي اجتماعي و جامعه‌پذيري سياسي وجود دارد.
