چكيده فارسي :
عملكرد شوراهاي روستايي در ابعاد مختلف تا حد زيادي بر مؤلفه هايي مانند تحصيلات، علاقمندي، بسترهاي اجتماعي و ميزان مشاركت روستائيان بستگي دارد و چنين به نظر مي رسد كه اندازه سكونتگاه هاي روستايي در نوع و ميزان عملكرد مديريت روستايي مؤثر باشد. تحقيق حاضر با هدف بررسي مديريت روستايي در سكونتگاه هاي روستايي بزرگ و كوچك انجام شده و به دنبال بررسي تفاوتها و پيامدهاي آن است. روش تحقيق در اين مطالعه، تحليلي و مبتني بر مطالعات كتابخانه‌اي، اسنادي و پس از تهيه چهارچوب نظري، به تدوين شاخص‌ها و پرسشنامه و انجام عمليات ميداني پرداخته شد. براي تجزيه و تحليل اطلاعات از نرم افزار SPSS و نرم افزار Expert Choice استفاده شده است. پرسشنامه در 14 روستا و از سوي 334 نفر از افراد ساكن در مناطق روستايي بزرگ و كوچك، تكميل شد. براي مقايسه عملكرد موفقيت شوراها در روستاهاي بزرگ و كوچك، از آزمون من ويتني بهره گرفته شده است. و همچنين براي رتبه‌بندي عملكرد‌هاي اقتصادي و اجتماعي و زيست محيطي از نرم افزار ExpertChoice استفاده شد. نتايج حاصل تحقيق نشان مي‌دهد كه نخست در تمامي شاخص‌هاي مطرح شده ميزان موفقيت شوراها در روستاهاي بزرگ و كوچك با سطح معناداري كوچكتر از 05 /0 (05 /0sig) تفاوت معناداري ديده ميشود. دوم، نتايج
