Measurement elatedness between Levels of Mental Health in the Mothers with Asthma Severity in School Age Children

مقدمه: آسم يك اختلال تنفسي است كه با انسداد مجاري تنفسي، موجب حملات عودكننده تنفس مي­شود. بهداشت روان ضعيف مادر به‌عنوان يك عامل تحريكي مطرح است. هدف از اين مطالعه تعيين همبستگي سطح سلامت روان مادران و شدت آسم كودكان سن مدرسه بود. روش كار: اين پژوهش يك مطالعه توصيفي- همبستگي بود و جامعه پژوهش شامل مادران داراي كودك مبتلابه آسم در شهر تهران و كودكان آن­ها بودند كه نمونه­ها شامل 132 مادر داراي كودك 12-6 ساله مبتلابه آسم مراجعه­كننده به كلينيك ريه بيمارستان كودكان مفيد در سال 1395بودند كه به‌صورت در دسترس انتخاب گرديدند. ابزار جمع­آوري داده­ها "پرسشنامه­هاي سلامت عمومي" (GHQ) و "پرسشنامه كنترل آسم"(ACQ) بود كه توسط مادران اين كودكان تكميل گرديد. پس از گردآوري داده­ها، براي تجزيه‌وتحليل داده­ها از نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه 21 استفاده شد. يافته­ ها: علائم اختلال رواني در مادران داراي كودك مبتلابه آسم مشاهده گرديد كه ميانگين بيشتر از نقطه برش جامعه بود و با شدت آسم كودك همبستگي داشت و با آزمون دقيق فيشر (0/001=P )، رابطه معني­دار بين شدت بيماري آسم كودك و سلامت رواني مادر وجود داشت. نتيجه ­گيري: مادران كودكان مبتلابه آسم ازنظر بهداشت رواني در سطح پايين­تري قرار دارند كه اين مشكل با شدت آسم فرزند آن­ها مرتبط بود. بنابراين مادران اين كودكان بايد از مشاوره و درمان­هاي ويژه روان‌شناختي برخوردار گردند.

Introduction: Asthma is a respiratory disorder, which causes recurrent breathing attacks through respiratory tract obstruction. Association between Mothers’ poor mental health and asthma is known as a trigger of asthma exacerbations. The aim of this study was to Evaluate Relatedness between Poor mental health in the mothers with asthma Severity in school age children. Method: This study was a descriptive-correlation research. The statistical population were included all mothers with asthmatic children in Tehran. 132 child 6-12 years old with asthma who referring to the pulmonary clinic of hospital in Tehran and their mothers were selected for sampling in 1395. General Health uestionr-12)GH -12) and Juniper Asthma Control uestioner (AC ) were completed by these children’s mother to assess the mental health and asthma control. After data collection, spss21 software was used for data analysis. esults: Mental disorder symptoms were found in mothers of children with asthma in the cut-off point. The average was more than the community cut-off point and related to with severity of asthma. The Fisher's Exact Test showed that significant relationship (p 00000)had between asthma severity and mother mental health. Conclusion: Mothers of children with asthma are at a lower level of mental health. This problem related to their children asthma severity. Therefore, the mothers of these children should have a special counseling and psychological treatment. Keywords: Children asthma, Mothers mental health, Asthma severity
