The Impact of Religious Sensitivity of the Citizens on Environmental Ethics

زمينه و هدف: مسأله محيط زيست سالم و حفاظت از آن يكي از مهم‌ترين مسائل روز مي‌باشد. بحران‌هاي حاصل از آسيب‌هاي زيست‌محيطي گسترده و غير قابل برگشت مي‌باشند و رعايت اصول اخلاق زيست‌محيطي و تأثيرپذيري آن از حساسيت مذهبي شهروندان مي‌تواند به حفظ و كنترل آن كمك كند. از اين رو پژوهش حاضر با هدف تعيين تأثير حساسيت مذهبي بر اخلاق زيست‌محيطي انجام شده است. مواد و روش‌ها: اين پژوهش يك مطالعه كمي از نوع توصيفي ـ تحليلي است. جامعه آماري آن را شهروندان شهرهاي تبريز و مشهد تشكيل مي‌دادند. حجم نمونه آماري به تعداد 431 نفر برآورد و نمونه‌گيري به شيوه در دسترس در دي ماه سال 1396 انجام شد. براي جمع‌آوري داده‌ها از پرسشنامه استاندارد حساسيت مذهبي Allport (1961 م.) و پرسشنامه اخلاق زيست‌محيطي مقيمي و رمضان (1390 ش.) استفاده شد. براي تجزيه و تحليل آماري از روش تحليل مسير و معادلات ساختاري و نرم‌افزارهاي SPSS و AMOS استفاده شد. يافته‌ها: نتايج حاصل از تحليل عاملي و معادلات ساختاري نشان داد كه حساسيت مذهبي (دروني و بيروني) بر اخلاق زيست‌محيطي تأثير معني‌دار دارد (p=0.001). ضريب تأثير اين رابطه بين حساسيت مذهبي بيروني و اخلاق زيست‌محيطي 0/34 و بين حساسيت مذهبي دروني و اخلاق زيست‌محيطي 0/27 به دست آمد. نتيجه‌گيري: با توجه به تأثير حساسيت مذهبي بر اخلاق زيست‌محيطي، پيشنهاد مي‌گردد براي افزايش گرايش شهروندان به رعايت هنجارهاي اخلاق زيست‌محيطي ، از آيات و روايات مذهبي استفاده شود.

Background and Aims: Today the healthy environment and its maintenance are one of the most important issues. The crises resulted from environmental harms are widespread and irreversible. Observing the principles of environmental ethics and its impact from the religious sensitivity of citizens can help to protect the environment and control it. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of religious sensitivity on environmental ethics. Materials and Methods: This research is descriptive-analytic study with quantitative approach. Target population were the citizens of Tabriz and Mashhad cities. 431 subjects were recruited to the study by available sampling during the summer of 2018. The impact of both internal and external dimensions of religious sensitivity was studied on the environmental ethics. Data were collected using Allport’s religious sensitivity questionnaire (1967) and Moghimi and Ramadan’s environmental ethics questionnaire (2011). Statistical analysis was performed using path analysis and structural equations by SPSS and Amos softwares. Findings: The results of factor analysis and structural equations showed that religious sensitivity (internal and external dimensions) affects environmental ethics (p=0.001). Path coefficient for the relationship between external religious sensitivity and internal religious sensitivity with environmental ethics was 0.34 and 0.27, respectively Conclusion: Given the impact of religious sensitivity on environmental ethics, it is recommended to refer the related Islam verses and narratives in order to develop affection towards observing of environmental ethics norms in the citizens.
