An Analysis of the Disabled People's Perception of the Images Representing Them in the Cinema

اين تحقيق در پي تحليل دريافت افراد داراي معلوليت جسمي – حركتي از تصاوير بازنمايي شده از آنها در سه فيلم: ميم مثل مادر اثر رسول ملاقلي‌پور،شهر زيبا به گارگرداني اصغر فرهادي و زماني براي دوست داشتن ابراهيم فروزش است. مخاطبان مورد نظر در اين تحقيق شامل معلولين جسمي – حركتي‌اي هستند كه توان ديداري و شنيداري را توأمان دارند، و اين مخاطبان شامل نابينايان، ناشنوايان، معلولين ذهني و ساير معلوليني كه اين ويژگي را ندارند، نمي‌شود. تحقيق پيش رو در چارچوب مطالعات فرهنگي و با رويكرد تحليل دريافت، سعي در پي بردن به دريافت مخاطبان از اين فيلم‌ها را دارد، فيلم‌هايي كه درباره معلوليت است و يا بخشي از فيلم به بازنمايي معلوليت پرداخته است. به اين ترتيب به دنبال پاسخگويي به اين سوال كلي بوديم كه افراد داراي معلوليت چه دريافتي از اين فيلم‌ها دارند. روش به كار برده شده در اين تحقيق، روش كيفي است كه البته براي انسجام بخشيدن به يافته‌ها از روش نظريه زمينه مبنا نيز براي كدگذاري و مقوله‌بندي آنها ياري جستيم؛ در اين راستا از دو تكنيك مصاحبه عميق و مشاهده مشاركتي استفاده شده است. يافته‌هاي تحقيق حاكي از آن است كه از سوي مخاطبان خوانش‌هاي متفاوتي از فيلم‌ها صورت گرفته است، البته اين تفاوت ميان زنان و مردان بيشتر نمايان است. نتايج حاصل از اين تحقيق نشانگر فعال بودن مخاطبان در عرصه دريافت است. در پايان، نتايج حاصل از يافته‌ها به صورت مقوله‌هايي ازقبيل ترحم، عدم امكان ازدواج، همجواري معلوليت با امور مقدس و غيره، قرار داده شده است.

This research is conducted to analyze the perception of people with mobility impairment of the images representing them in 3 movies: M like Mother (directed by Rasool Mollagholi Poor), Beautiful City (Asghar Farhadi) and A Time to Love (Ebrahim Forouzesh). The audience of this thesis are the disabled people who have both the hearing and eyesight impairment. Therefore, the blind, the deaf, the mentally impaired and other handicapped ones that cannot use these organs simultaneously, are not considered. Applying the Perception Analysis approach in cultural studies framework, this research is an attempt to understand the way aforementioned audience perceive the content of these movies which are about the impairement phenomenon or represent disable people. Furthermore, the authors used the Grounded Theory analysis to categorize the findings appropriately. Thus, we tried to answer the question that how the impaired people perceive these movies. With a qualitative methodology approach, we used both the deep interview and participant observation techniques. The findings demonstrate that the audience perceive the movies in different ways and one of the main ones is gender oriented. So, they participate actively in the perception and recreation the meaning processes. We presented the finding in some categories such as commiseration, the impossibility of marriage, the companionship of the disability with holy matters and etc
