نفثة­المصدور، اثر ماندگار ادب فارسي در عرصة نثر متكلف، مورد عنايت شارحان قرار گرفته است. از اين جمله، شرحي است كه حاصل مساعي امير حسن يزدگردي است. علي رغم كوشش شارح، امكان بازبيني براي ناقدان ديگر وجود دارد. اين پژوهش از نوع توصيفي و با روش كتابخانه­اي تهيه گرديده و بنا به نياز، به اسناد معتبر و قابل اعتماد مراجعه شده است. در اين پژوهش ابتدا عباراتي كه در شرح آن اشكالي وارد بود، مشخص و در ادامه نظر شارحِ اثر ذكر شد. پس از آن اشكالاتي كه در شرح به نظر رسيد با وجوه مختلف آن بيان و در پايان به نتيجه گيري و ارائه مفهوم نهايي پرداخته شد. البته براي ابهام زدايي كامل از عبارت مورد نظر، عنداللزوم، از عبارات قبل و بعد يا صفحات ديگر نيز شواهد يا عباراتي به عنوان شاهد مثال ذكر شده است. اين اشكالات يا مربوط به متن اثر است يا شرحي كه برآن عبارت نگاشته شده است.
