ذكر يكي از زيباترين جلوه‌هاي ارتباط عاشقانه با خداوند است كه تداوم آن، روح را شاداب نگه مي‌دارد و زنگار گناهان را از روى دل مىزدايد و در سير و سلوك و شكوفا شدن استعدادهاي نهفتۀ بشري نقش اساسي و بنيادي بر عهده دارد. هر قدر آيينۀ دل از زنگار اعمال و عقايد باطل پاك‌تر و رويِ دل به سوي خورشيد الوهيت بيشتر باشد، آثار ذكر شديدتر خواهد بود. در اين جستار نقش انواع ذكر، در آرامش و سلامتي جسمي و روحي و تكامل معنوي انسان مورد نقد و بررسي قرار گرفته است. پژوهش، بر اساس نحوۀ كاربرد انواع ذكر در قرآن كريم و آثار مهم عرفاني و ملاحظۀ ديدگاه‌هاي صاحب‌نظران و دريافت بي‌واسطه از آن‌ها به روش تحليل محتواي اين آثار صورت گرفته است. نتيجه كلي مقاله اين است كه ذكر و ياد خداوند در سازندگى روحى و اخلاقى انسان موثر بوده و در نهايت موجب تعالي و كمال آدمي مي‌شود.
